The hoop would be winning a lot of football games. I’m actually projecting the AFC East teams, despite looking strong at the moment, to finish no better than .500 in division games this year.

Why the fuck would any Steeler fan give a fuck about a fucking playoff generator ??

Last year we made the playoffs and that team was going nowhere too.SteelerDayTrader wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 9:09 pmWhy the fuck would any Steeler fan give a fuck about a fucking playoff generator ??

The Ben that played last year wasn’t the dude that was one of the greatest ever to play the game. Not even close to it.SteelerDayTrader wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 9:25 pmWe had a QB last year. Sorry to have to break that to you but after Colbert and Tomlin watched the Ben of last year, that’s why “Kenneth” was drafted.
Happy to help you learn.

God forbid Steeler fans have some interest as an overall football fan in the happenings of other teams.

Do you remember the year where the Steelers needed about 87 straight things to happen to make the playoffs. Then 86 in a row happened. Then the Chiefs, starting Chase Daniel, lost in OT to the Chargers after some weird FG shenanigans. That was fun
That was 2013 and the NFL put it's thumb on the scale because they needed the Chargers to make the playoffs since they were in a stadium plea with SD.lifelongsteel wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 5:24 pmDo you remember the year where the Steelers needed about 87 straight things to happen to make the playoffs. Oh, leave him alone. He's salty because Ben bitchslapped him for swinging from his nutsack too long.rooneytunes wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 12:30 amBecause it's fun.SteelerDayTrader wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 9:09 pmWhy the fuck would any Steeler fan give a fuck about a fucking playoff generator ??

That was the season that finalized my contempt for Cool Shades. Lost four straight to open the season against three out of four shitty teams including the Viqueens in London. Also, Swiss and I were in the house in Week 9 in Foxboro when the Steelers defense gave up a 50 burger to Brady and Co. The only reason the Steelers were in it was because Aaron Rodgers didn't play in Week 16 at Lambeau. I was there for that one, too, along with SteelerzBar, and we damn near lost that one, too, because Cool Shades forgot he could run down the clock and kick a FG to win at the end. Thankfully Matt Flynn shit the bed on the Steelers goal line.Deebo wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 6:57 pmThat was 2013 and the NFL put it's thumb on the scale because they needed the Chargers to make the playoffs since they were in a stadium plea with SD.lifelongsteel wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 5:24 pmDo you remember the year where the Steelers needed about 87 straight things to happen to make the playoffs. I don't remember the exact date, but for me it was some time in 2016. Although I still continued to hold [false] hope for a few more years that Ben and the other stars could overcome HC incompetence.JackLambert58 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 7:32 pmThat was the season that finalized my contempt for Cool Shades.
That particular year, where we got screwed HARD by the refs of another game stung for a long time. Steelers were IN, and then a horrible and bizarre call reversed the outcome and left the Steelers out after overtime.
But "what could have been" doesn't bother me any more because I now know the outcome of every scenario with Tomlin as HC...

How awesome would it be if we kept NHALS alive with a 6-6-4 record?

I look forward to seeing this place after we roll the Bengals.
Gonna be lots of playoff talk after Sunday.
