AB Again
"Jack Lambert is mean and relentless wherever he goes, on and off the field! I do remember many times he would chase me in practice, but no way would I let him catch me" - Franco Harris
Man if Ben just would have invited this guy over to spend some time with his family, all this could have been avoided. No idea why he wouldn't want him around his wife and kids.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”
I don't wish this on anyone certainly, but will not be surprised when we open up a headline that says AB killed himself.
He definitely has mental health issues and hope he gets the necessary help he needs.

You're not wrong, but I'd probably stop short of blaming AB's domestic violence on mental illness....
I think a year and half ago or so there was another incident involving the mother of one of his kids.

I still say that Burfict hit sent AB spiraling. He wasn't a model citizen or anything before that, but ever since that collision, he's been out of control.
I’ve thought the same thing. Head trauma is a bad thing. On the bright side, he might have a future as a Georgia Senator. Sorry. Too soon?Deebo wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 8:49 pmI still say that Burfict hit sent AB spiraling. Nawww, he's off his meds or something. AB has been fucked in the head his whole life.
He had been a relatively top prospect, but for whatever reason college recruiters ran away from him. Literally ALL of them. AB had to beg the WMU coach to let him walk on.

So sad...and to think that this is all Ben's fault.
I literally am crying right now because of how Ben has so horribly treated AB, and isn't doing a DAMN thing to help him, to show any leadership!!!
WHY ISN'T KENNY DOING SOMETHING!!!!
(we all know why!!!)

TB12 didn't show any leadership either! And that was AB's quarterback!!!

All seriousness.

Wait, the police didn't rush in there and mag dump him while screaming epithets and spray painting stuff all over and planting evidence?
Thought all police did that.
Wait a bloody second.
"The suspect exited the residence and threw a shoe at the victim striking her in the ponytail," the police report stated. "The victim had no injuries but believed the shoe was meant for her head. The suspect would not open the door or come outside to speak with officers. The suspect also during this incident attempted to issue an informal eviction to the victim."
WTF

He threw a shoe?
He must be maturing, the last time he threw a bag of dicks!

Blonde facial hair or black mask? I'm torn on which is a better look to draw in the voters.

“Yeah we suck, be there is a chance we could suck slightly more if we try to correct the problem.” - Art Deuce (summarized by SteelPerch)
Why did the judge deny the police's request for a risk protection order? That's just stupid!

AB is retroactively ruining the 2010s Steelers for me. It's bad enough that they never won anything, but with AB being such a giant, crazy piece of shit, and with Lev Bell turning into a turd himself (though not close to AB in terms of being a shitty person), it's not really even fun to watch highlights from that period. I just keep thinking that I hate those douchebags. It's a shame, because I like watching Ben play at his peak.
Yeah it's a lot easier to understand why they didn't win shit with the personalities on offense, which was the side of the ball that had to win it for them. No wonder Martavis didn't straighten up and fly right. Not like he had any roll models to help him get his life on track. Who knows what was going on after hours with that group. I doubt there was any good wholesome team building or film study.W&M_Steeler wrote: ↑Fri Dec 02, 2022 2:52 pmAB is retroactively ruining the 2010s Steelers for me.
