CB
Kelee Ringo
Darius Rush
Both probably not lasting 30 picks.
S
Antonio Johnson
Daniel Scott
JL Skinner
Christopher Scott.
One of them should be there at 133.
OLB
Herbig
Tavious Robinson
Jose Ramirez
Don't see Herbig sliding...but we've seen alot of slide in this draft.
ILB
Ivan Pace. A bit short for my liking at ILB.
Noah Sewell sure did drop.
The PS saw 4 candidates go by after the trade down.
Be interesting to see which one turns out to be a play maker....Simpson, Henley, Overshown or Dorian Williams.....hoping not TS
WR
Still in the PS wr zone 2 thru 4.
Tyler Scott.
Charlie Jones slot?
AT Perry... another big kid.
Antoine Greene
Xavier Hutchinson...
Parker Washington
Comes down to what the PS see as better fit.?
Slot or outside WR
C
Luke Wypler..a bit light?
Only C to think about ar 132
G busy roster at G right now...so don't see it
Chandler Zavala.
Sidy Sow.
OT
Dawand Jones....now up to 390 with the long wait.
Blake Freeland
Jaelyn Duncan
Nick Saldiviri
Kelee Ringo

Don’t forget:
Anthony Johnson Jr
Karl Brooks
Isaiah McGuire

In their current state, I hate everything about this organization.

I’d like to see the Steelers get Abanikanda
4.2 is crazy for anyone. A guy built like him at 4.2 is just unreal
The Steelers want to be an inside running team above all else. They don’t have a complete RB unit by any means and injuries happen fast at that position
I know the D needs help.
At 135 I begin to question if a D side pick becomes a pipeline clogger. Someone you like but lacking greatness although not enough so they will be quickly upgraded
If Lonnie Phelps is there in the 7th I like him at both ILB and OLB
There will be some upside WRs in the 7th too

I’m partial to LBer here at 4
If they go RB or WR in Round 4 it has to be someone who can return kicks. Right now Gunner Olszewski is the only guy on the roster that fills that role

I would like to see Carter Warren from Pitt. He can recover for a year, but will make a good swing tackle, and could become a starter down the road. Or Blake Freeland, again for down the road.

I think the Steelers have their swing tackle now. Moore or Chuks.jewelsongs wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 2:09 pmI would like to see Carter Warren from Pitt. I hear you, but Chuks will make good money in a year for a swing guy.fractalsteel wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 2:38 pmI think the Steelers have their swing tackle now. Or, if Chuks IS relegated to swing, then the FO will ask him to take a pay cut in '24 or be cut, as they can save ~$9M if they cut him (with only $3M dead).jewelsongs wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 2:50 pmI hear you, but Chuks will make good money in a year for a swing guy.fractalsteel wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 2:38 pmI think the Steelers have their swing tackle now. I think we have to look at a QB like Duggan at some point.

I hope they get aggressive for a QB in UDFA time
I’d rather spend picks at other positions. Lots of good players left the Steelers could use
I like Jaren Hall. If they picked him in the 7th I wouldn’t bitch or the podcast fave from Gannon

Agree…Running backs from Pitt are usually a no brainer…I guess it is the rivers and how they run freely!.
Abanikanda would be an easy upgrade over any RB not named Harris or Warren.

Anthony McFarland going into 4th year has shown zilch.
Need that upgrade at #3 that could see the field real fast with the way we plan on running the ball and dings and dents to NH and JW
Pounding the run will require a full stable of RBs

I'd like to see AT Perry here. We've invested enough in the defense and Diontae/Pickens/the ghost of Allen Robinson is the weakest WR trio in our division. Add a shiny toy.

Eagles are Athens North, we are turning into Madison East!

It is amazing….this Alabama machine everyone knew about and it looked unbeatable and then boom sort of out of no, they took over the Alabama football factory in a flash.Jobu wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 5:51 pmSteelers have their share of Dawgs too.LakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 5:35 pmEagles are Athena North, we are turning into Madison East!

Just a little concerned we've done so much to bolster a defense that was already top 10 and practically nothing for an offense that couldn't crack 20 points
Pickett has to take a big step or it'll be another year of 17-14 final scores

They drafted a very promising LT and a TE that could turn out to be an enormous steal.Valentino_Blake wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 6:00 pmJust a little concerned we've done so much to bolster a defense that was already top 10 and practically nothing for an offense that couldn't crack 20 points

yeah i wouldnt say practically nothing, but i like seeing the build up on the defense if for no other reason than i firmly believe Tomlin is only capable of and maybe only even interested in winning a superbowl with a defensively oriented teamJobu wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 6:05 pmThey drafted a very promising LT and a TE that could turn out to be an enormous steal.Valentino_Blake wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 6:00 pmJust a little concerned we've done so much to bolster a defense that was already top 10 and practically nothing for an offense that couldn't crack 20 points

Picket is good to take a step forward. As will George Pickens. Hopefully DJ steps up. Austin could add some speed and they just signed a WR.Valentino_Blake wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 6:00 pmJust a little concerned we've done so much to bolster a defense that was already top 10 and practically nothing for an offense that couldn't crack 20 points

And as was said, we added a LT and a TE.
RB is already set with Najee and Warren.
Now sure we could have added another WR but the needs elsewhere were bigger.
They add a WR next year fairly high in draft.
Barring major injury and Jibbs/Canada dumbfuckery this had better be a playoff team this year.
Next year being a serious contender should be the expectation.
I expect Pickens is going to make a nice leap in year two.
And if Canada isn’t a complete dumbfuck he should have more than enough to put points on the board.

Yup, but you have to think Jones comes in and takes one spot leaving a starter as backup. Goo d situation going into 2023/24. Worry about next year next Spring.jewelsongs wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 2:50 pmI hear you, but Chuks will make good money in a year for a swing guy.fractalsteel wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 2:38 pmI think the Steelers have their swing tackle now. OL MUCH improved.
