https://www.steelers.com/news/steelers- ... determined

Home
Baltimore, Cleveland, Cincy
Dallas
KC
LA Chargers
NY Giants
NY Jets

AWAY
Baltimore, Cleveland, Cincy
Atlanta
Denver
Indy
Vegas
Philly
Washington

Outside of the division, there are only 3 current playoff teams. Looks like the division will be tougher than the rest of the league. Next season looks promising.

This season looked to be cakey. We finished having played 13 games against teams that ended with winning records.

Only 10 teams finished with losing records this season (only 3 in the AFC). More than 2/3 of the league had winning seasons. Puts NHALS in some perspective.

Yes, but for 17 seasons in a row? That is what makes it unusual.

there were 6 in the AFC and 13 overall. So on average teams played agaibst subbers for 7 games.

Ben Roethlisberger never had a losing season.

Bill Belichick had 19 winning seasons in a row from 2001-2019 (winning 6 Super Bowls along the way)- not just non-losing, but winning seasons- but no one gives a shit. That stretch included a season in which the Pats started Matt Cassell essentially all year (2008, when they finished 11-5).

You're right, I had a brain fart and counted the 8 win teams as non-losing seasons (still haven't adjusted to the 17 game schedule). 60% of the teams had winning records this year (19/32).

NHALS should survive this lineup. Put me down for 9 or 10 wins.

Even NHALS.

And dropped two games against teams with 2-10 records.

Nothing is a certainty in this league.

Especially when Jibba Jabber is in charge.

Atlanta Washington probably wins….maybe Denver too ?

Other than those every team on an upswing
Plus the Eagles game is in Philadelphia where we haven’t won since 1965.

Maybe Mason should start that game too…🤣

Nitpicking, since it's a list of 17, but living in the belly of the beast, nobody in the greater Philly area would say the Iggles are on an upswing of any kind.

I thought Philly was "the team" to beat this year. They have struggled as of late.

Sold most of my tickets in 2023.
Went to opener vs S.F.

This looks like I will be at half the games in 2024

My older Brother, nephews and my sons friends are Jets fans - road trip.

I have a bunch of friends who are Giants fans. - Road trip two.

My younger Brother and his son are Cowboys fan.......road trip.

Ravens? KC.....

I hope the Jets, Giants and Cowboys games are spaced out.

Which one will be a Monday night or Thursday nite game.....hope non of them.

How did we get Atlanta in that schedule?

Now, there you definitely have a point. Has been a house of horrors for the Steelers. Nonetheless, Iggles fans seem perhaps less confident in their playoff chances vs. Tampa than we do about facing Allen and Co. in Buffalo. Considering their bravado (putting it mildly and in the nicest possible way) earlier in the season, it's been quite the 180 around here. Actually, has some pretty serious Steelers 11-0 record season from a few years ago vibes.

Their 10-1 start was eerily similar to the Steelers' 11-0 start in 2020. They have been playing poorly for the last ten weeks at least...they were simply lucking into wins before San Francisco broke them by beating their asses all over the football field.

Funny you mention that. The ESPN morning people were saying that Sirianni should be on the hot seat (or even fired) because of the collapse, even though the Eagles made the Super Bowl last year and had a winning record & made the playoffs this year. But the fact that Tomlin oversaw a collapse from 11-0 (to name one of several late season collapses Tomlin presided over) never seems to cross their mind when they're declaring him unfireable.

Thank the 17 game schedule. It’s the extra NFC crossover game, and both finished third in the division.

I'm not gonna lie, it's been pleasantly quiet around here the last month or so from the Iggles fans.

Not sure I'd go best in the league on paper... that back 7 is pretty rough on D, like bottom of the NFL bad, and I'm personally off the Jalen Hurts top 5 QB bandwagon. Last year was high water mark good, first year was the floor, and I'm thinking this year is the mean we can expect for the career. Good top 2 WRs, good Oline, talented, young but underachieving Dline, decent RBs, good TE who's going to need paid, some serious coaching issues to iron out... not sure where I see their future, honestly.

Hilarious that we get slagged on as fans for saying we’ve had enough of Tomlin. Philly fans are calling for Siranni to get canned. He got them in the playoffs all three of his years at the helm and is only one year removed from taking them to the Superbowl.

Not just fans.

Ike Reese was on talk radio today saying Bill Belichick will be available, and he won’t be next year, so if Philly wants to move on to a real coach, now is the time.

I don't get it... Sirianni has NHALS! Doesn't that mean he's awesome and beyond reproach and every fan who criticizes him is an idiot and a racist?
