Great player…great career.
Always a bit sad to see the icons retire.

He was one of my favorite non Steelers. I am shocked he walked away from $13 million. I know he’s earned over $150 million but $13 million is a LOT of money and he is a one divorce and a few child support orders away from wishing he had that $13 million.
Hail To Pitt! Awesome career, and a great human being by all accounts.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...
I think the Rams might be in some trouble defensively after this.
IMHO the best defensive player ever.
He made the Rams relevant.

Wow that's a bold statement. I used to think it was LT but watching highlights of Reggie White tossing 300lb linemen around like they were children makes me second guess that. I knew White was great while he was playing but watching the highlight reels brings it to another level.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”
LT is overrated having played in the NY market. Reggie White has become criminally underrated.
I'm old enough to remember watching LT play. He is not overrated. Teams had to scheme for him or they wouldn't be throwing the ball. I also remember watching destroy Theisman's knee live. That was horrible.
Reggie was freakishly strong and a great athlete. Also a fantastic human being by all reports.
