Aaron Donald states the obvious about Low Watt:
He kind of got snubbed a couple times. I ain't gonna lie.
But what would a guy like Aaron Donald know about elite play? Appeals to authority and all.....Probably internet tape scrubbers and casual fans know better than Aaron.

It's a shame that voters decided Garrett would win DPOY by Week 6

I'll also go on record as saying that the Browns D was largely a fluke last season. Too many weird anomalies

It's mind numbing. Make the decision, make it known, spend the rest of the year defending it.
Browns defense was 13th in points. Their offense was 10th
Is this the biggest sham DPOY ever? (maybe the only one)

Honestly I'm not sure anyone outside of Pittsburgh cares enough for this topic to be controversial.
But your post did remind me of something else - Lost in all the talk of the Browns offensive injuries was how healthy that D was all season. Anthony Walker was the only Day 1 starter that missed any extended time, and even that injury didn't happen until December

If the Browns had a top 2 scoring defense I'd have been OK with it.
Steelers relied more on their defense to win games than the Browns did.
Steelers all time record when missing TJ is staggering. Rarely heard a peep on this from the national bird chirpers.

Low Watt really showed himself during this meaningless bullshit
He’s always been a choker late in games
But I was SHOCKED what a gigantic pussy crybaby he was about this
In public
Multiple times
Guys like TJ make winning what matters harder than it should be

WTF does a loser like Donald know about what it takes to win a DPOY?
I’d rather listen to basement dwelling trolls explain what a lousy player Watt truly is…
Clearly the latter is a better source of what it takes and what a DPOY looks like

"There is no question T.J. Watt is a generational talent," said Pro Football Hall of Famer Mel Blount. "That guy is a game-wrecker. He's phenomenal. He could have played in any era...It comes so natural to the guy. And he's always doing it at critical times. That's what separates the great players from average ones - doing it at critical times. He always seems to make big plays when it matters most."
"He's special," said Greene. "He came out as a high-energy guy with great effort. When he was young, he was an up-the-field rusher. Over the years, he has transformed himself into a guy who can rush with multiple moves. That has made him into a better player. Now he can run through blockers, and he can beat his blocker inside. His transfer of speed to power has been impressive. He's developed a lot of countermoves. And it's clear he understands the game better. He has shown an ability to adapt to the game. It's either great coaching or just a great attitude on his part to want to grow as a player," added Greene.
"I'm not good at predicting talent, but I knew he was d**n good," said Harrison. "He's doing a tremendous job, I don't think there is anyone on defense playing better than him right now. There is no limit to where he can go."
"He could have played with us. The motor, the desire to win, the competitive nature... he makes plays when you need to make plays," praised Aaron Smith.
“Being a fan is fine, but there is a line you can cross that makes it really unhealthy,” said Ken Yeager, PhD, a mental health expert in the department of psychiatry at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Voting for Myles Garrett for DPOY is like voting for STD as opinion journalist of the year.
The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

The statement that these are fluff pieces is an evaluation of facts. You seem to mistake your evaluation of facts for the facts themselves—what the greats are actually saying.
This habit of mistaking of one's evaluation of reality for reality is a common cognitive distortion that a cognitive behavioral therapist can help you with.
Of course, you can only get better if you want to get better.

The crazy part is that PFF doesn't really watch film; they use the chip data that is in everyone's shoulder pads -- that's how they got MG's double-team rate so much higher based on his higher number of inside gap lineups. It's a flawed system and just lazy and dumb.

Damn SDT, you have a lot of hate for TJ. If I didn't know better (and I don't), one would have to believe that it was very personal between you two. One might think that you had a major crush on TJ, met him and came on to him, and he rejected you - harshly! You sound very much like a woman scorn in all things TJ related. Please seek therapy to get past this or it will tear you up inside, no pun intended!

If your entire self-worth was tied up in pretending to be an NFL draft expert and you got a pick so incredibly wrong you'd be acting the same way.
