as I mentioned on this site weeks ago, 6 games is the minimum suspension now for domestic violence incidents, so Sutton did get punished for evading arrest and or the seriousness of the incident.

On the plus side, that’s going to be about the most cap friendly veteran minimum contract there ever was.
So what's the plan at slot CB? Give the rookies a trial by fire and await Sutton's return after Game 8?

They signed two vets before Sutton. I think they'll let those three deal with the always uninportant games before the bye, then they'll get serious about NHALS when Sutton comes back.

No issues if the young bucks vying for the CB slots take over all the roles, and Sutton never sees the field this season. Would actually prefer that.
