Will the Cowboys game be a blowout?
On paper they are way more talented on offense than the lowly Colts.

Their Wr will run wild

The Colts aren't that lowly. They beat the Steelers and are 1 of a dz 2-2 teams in the NFL. A couple others could be 2-2 by weekends end. Isn't parity great? I could see the same kind of game as todays against the Cowboys. Maybe being at home on a Sunday night will get their minds right, maybe the easing in and mistakes will take us down again.

Could be epic!
Obviously, you have to pressure Dak and I think the Steelers can and will.
Watt had an uncharacteristically quiet game, so look for him to go absolutely nuts on Sunday night.
When Dak is pressured, he WILL throw picks. Often in bunches.
We should have had 2 INT's yesterday in a game the Steelers got very little pressure and couldn't come up with a Colts fumble in their territory.
I also think the training wheels are officially off Justin Fields and with Dallas missing their 2 top pass rushers, I could see Fields having a 2 passing, 2 rushing TD's kind of day.
I think the Steelers clean the Cowboys's clock, something like 35-10

When was the last time the Steelers scored 35 points in a single game?K_C_ wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 11:52 amObviously, you have to pressure Dak and I think the Steelers can and will.

Fields was feeling it yesterday and is getting better and better.
If Pickens doesn’t fuck him early, they very likely have 27 yesterday.
The unbelievably moronic bad snap yesterday, along with Najee and Tomlin’s stupidity killed what very likely would have been the game tying or game winning drive.
This offense, especially the QB, is turning a corner and don’t be surprised if they have a few short fields vs the Cowboys.

I looked it up.
The last time the Steelers scored 35 or more point was on November 11, 2021. And they lost that game 41-37 to the Chargers.
So it's basically been 3 years since the Steelers scored 35+

Okay? Ancient history has nothing to do with the present and future. Fields is explosive. Could have should have put up 30 yesterday.TimmayLake wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 12:46 pmI looked it up.

Had dude got any help from his defense and offensive line yesterday, the output could have been epic.

I would bet the under. It's not ancient history btw, when every single game this season, last season and the season before had the Steelers fail to score 35+. It's a consistent trend.
Fields has played 4 games as the Steelers starter. The training wheels, I’d say, are now officially off.TimmayLake wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 1:06 pmI would bet the under. I’d be interested in a wager about the Steelers scoring 35 or more this season. I think they will. History is obviously on your side so this should be an easy win for you. Let me know if you’re interested.

Sure, I'll do sig bet for that.
The Steelers rarely get blown out (unless it's a playoff game)
Doesn't matter what team they play, they want to grapple with them and drag them into the mud.
Plus I don't think Watt is this quiet 2 games in a row

Gotta load up McCarthy with burgers at big Jim's in his old stomping grounds
http://www.bigjimsrestaurant.com/
Cowboys, under Mike McCarthy, had the #1 scoring offense in the league 2 of the past 3 seasons.
Cowboys offense so far this season is not as good as it was in 2021 & 2023.
Cowboys OL has declined.
Their RBs are not as good. Elliot lost his speed.
Prescott played well in the regular season in 2021 & 2023.
Prescott's failures in the post season are well documented.
Heard a concern expressed on local radio here this morning of Steelers doing some of what Ravens did to them with a running QB.

Cowboys defense has been horrible this season and is without Lawrence and likely without Parsons, on offense they are still really good, RB's are a little pedestrian but with CeeDee, Cooks, Ferguson and Turpin they have a lot a playmakers and speed. Gonna be a good game, probably gonna have to score 24-27 to have a chance.
Rookie LT Tyler Guyton has been flat out terrible.
7 penalties through 4 games (including 5 holding calls) and 4 sacks allowed.

Well, Broderick is trying to keep up with him with 4 sacks allowed and 4 penalties (including the dumb ass personal foul this weekend when he takes a shot at a guy almost 2 seconds after the play is done).
It was attributed to Anderson, but Jones was the one I thought who came flying in late. I thought the refs just got the wrong number.
They both did it. Anderson first, then Jones followed just to make sure the refs didn’t miss the first one. Just a well coached, disciplined team!
Refs did call the wrong number - they called Jones on the field but replay clearly showed it was Anderson with the late hit. The game log has been updated as well.
I'll see if i can dig up a video anywhere.

Found it.
The stadium replay showed this from an angle that clearly showed Anderson, and the game log is showing Anderson as well. Truly could have been either/or.
