I'd consider it, if there is a way he can be stashed cheap until the unknown QB roster competition next year.

Maybe him as #3 with Allen to the PS. Or him on the PS.

I don't favor a Daniel Jones or KP as a 3rd QB - I think that should be a developmental guy you're hoping to win the lottery on. A guy who otherwise might only expect to develop into a #2.

But Daniel Jones as a cheap back-up? Sure. Given we likely don't have both Wilson and Fields next year they'll need a solid backup. Except guys like Jones, like it or not, command a premium as a backup. Probably $6M+.

Glad he took a gig and we can cross him off the maybe list.
