I'd gladly do this if we could get a 1st round pick. Just one is enough.

We all need to accept that doing plot charts to figure out if his all time winning percentage will tick-up enough to beat Don Shula and what year and game that will take place is in this board’s future
If another Super Bowl is in his future he will most likely get all-time winningest coach and set the record around 8 years from now in both percentage and number of games.

I think most would jump all over that.
Except for the only person that matters which is the Dunce.
He’d cut off his nuts before he would part with his security blanket.

I'm under the opinion that even if we get rid of Tomlin someday, the guy that replaces him will be some young defensive minded coach, and it will be more of the same.

Yep. I have zero confidence in Dunce making a quality hire.

with the inflated pedestal that most of the football world has put him on....
I think we should get more than a 1st?
Shula to the Dolphins- 1970 - 1st round pick to Baltimore
Parcels to the Jets - 1997 - 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th over 2 years to New England
Holmgren to the - 1999 - 2nd rnd pick to Packers
Belichick - 2000 - 1st, 4th & 5th to Jets
Gruden - 2002 - ( 2 ) 1st, ( 2 ) 2nds + $8 mil to the Raiders
Herm Edwards - 2006 - 4th rnd to Jets
Arians - 2019 - 6th rnd pick to Cards
https://broncoswire.usatoday.com/lists/ ... -and-more/
1st and a 4th in 2025
3rd and a 5th in 2026
Im a frequent NJ to Pitt and back traveler....
I will also volunteer.

Being defense-first doesn't mean you have to ignore the offensive side of the ball like Tomlin does.
For all his faults, Cowher had a variety of offensive approaches throughout his career, from ground and pound to the then revolutionary 5-wide (which was practically unstoppable if Neil O's brain doesn't malfunction). I think Cowher's problem was he often wasn't dynamic enough in the regular season, and failed trying to flip a switch in the playoffs. But at least he TRIED to flip a switch.
I think you can see a huge difference in demeanor. Cowher was driving hard to get that ring and nothing else mattered. Tomlin already has his ring, and all that matters is NHALS. I don't know if Tomlin is capable of another playoff run. I do believe he's not properly motivated to ever do that in PIT again.

Biggest problem with Jibbs is that he refuses to hand the keys to an OC and let them run the show.
He has created a unique situation where he gets all the praise and rarely any of the blame.
Oh the offense stinks (yet again) I’ll just blame it on the OC and then replace them. Even though I meddle in the offense and force the OC to do things my way.
When it goes well he gets credit. When it doesn’t he deflects blame.
Also think he has a fragile ego. This his preference for surrounding himself with dipshits ie Canada.
Cowher was a better coach because Cowher strived to surround himself with quality assistants.
Jibba needs to be the smartest guy in the room.

I'm assuming everyone posting in this thread is picking the Steelers to lose to the Bungs in the score game this week?
