SteelerFury.com Podcast 2024 NFL Season Week 13: Steelers at Bengals
The Steelers lost in the state of Ohio to the Browns this past week in rather embarrassing fashion. Unfortunately for them, they travel back to the Buckeye State to play the Cincinnati Bengals and their red hot offense. Join your hosts Jeremy Kohlman, Korey Karbowsky, and Wil Masisak as they lament over the loss to the Browns, highlight the matchups were looking at against Cincinnati, go down a bit of rabbit hole when talking about the Steelers future, and tackle some of the Week 13 slate in the NFL.

The podcast is just better after a loss. Another benefit.
I want to get off Mr. Bones' wild ride.

Last week, I didn’t want to be negative after a quality win, so chose not to dwell on the issues which were just as apparent in the Baltimore game. But I’m not Tommy, as I am not deaf, dumb, nor blind.
Joe Burrow is having an unbelievable season in many respects; it’s just a question of can his other teammates not let the rest of the game get away.
Think prime Ben era Steelers—a defense that suddenly couldn’t stop anybody and a QB and an elite skill group.

Don't know if you've noticed, but the Steelers haven't put much heat on opposing QBs for some time now. The trend is not good and Burrow is good even when he's under heat.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 2:40 amSteelers put heat on burrow, send the who deyers home early on the escalatorsbradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 10:05 pmLast week, I didn’t want to be negative after a quality win, so chose not to dwell on the issues which were just as apparent in the Baltimore game. I HAVE noticed, but think maybe we see some new wrinkles on the pass rush this weekbradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 4:10 amDon't know if you've noticed, but the Steelers haven't put much heat on opposing QBs for some time now. Just listened to podcast for first time this season...and got wicked depressed. FWIW...hate talking about next years draft while this season is in progress and Steelers in midst of playoff hunt...but that's just me

Eh, you know we talk draft prospects all year... but the discussion this week was more like trying to identify: what would the magic offseason signings or draft picks be to put this team up to Super Bowl contender status. That was the context.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 4:01 pmJust listened to podcast for first time this season...and got wicked depressed. The have been some nice parts to this season and we've talked about those plenty... but I think the state of the team is kind of depressing in a Groundhog Day kind of way. It feels like such a repeat of the recent past. I readily admit I have Tomlin postseason PTSD... but should we just ignore all of that to put a more positive spin on the show? I'm sorry if it's not enjoyable to listen, because the point is to make something people will listen to.
There’s not a QB I fear more on third down than Burrow.bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 4:10 amDon't know if you've noticed, but the Steelers haven't put much heat on opposing QBs for some time now.
