And Stanford, that bastion of intelligence will not be outdone in this weekend of football stupidity. Unlike the other two they blew a 4 point lead in the worst way possible.

Really thought they were gonna call a false start, and actually if you watch the replay, the refs are running in blowing the play dead like it was a false start, yet they changed it to illegal shift since the Chiefs recovered the fumble, if it was an illegal shift why would the refs blow the play dead? Simple answer, NFL is WWE.

I am beginning to see how people believe the NFL is rigged.
Don’t get me wrong…I do believe the officials got the end game call correct yesterday…was an early snap and fumble.
But…it sure looks like blew the play dead and signaled false start at first. And then once they saw the Chiefs recovered the fumble, huddled and changed their minds.

You do know Vince McMahon is the true NFL commissioner. Right? NFL is categorized as Sports Entertainment for a reason.

I saw elsewhere that it would have been a false start had the clock been running, but since the Raiders had spiked the ball and stopped the clock, it becomes an illegal shift as not everyone was set at the snap.gojira5150 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 6:02 pmDing, Ding, Ding. The whistle also didn’t happen until the Chiefs had already recovered so…
Can anyone confirm this rule?
Anyhow, a FG from there was no gimme…the kicker had already missed three, only making one from 27 yards.
And his misses were bad misses.
Again I understand why people feel what they feel, but looks as if the officials got it right.

I'm not really hung up on the call so much as I can't wrap my head around why the C snapped the ball in the first place.
As for the Chiefs, if you count yesterday that's the 5th time this season their game was decided on the final snap...they are 5-0 in those games. In 2 others (Chargers and Falcons) their opponent couldn't convert inside the red zone in the 4th quarter.
This shit is a level beyond what the 2020 Steelers were doing.

The RG touched his arm, which was the signal for the snap, according to Brian Baldinger.Pabst wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 7:16 pmI'm not really hung up on the call so much as I can't wrap my head around why the C snapped the ball in the first place.

Rest of the team didn’t get that message, though.

It's not much different than what happened to Frazier/Fields a few weeks back.jeemie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 7:22 pmThe RG touched his arm, which was the signal for the snap, according to Brian Baldinger.Pabst wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 7:16 pmI'm not really hung up on the call so much as I can't wrap my head around why the C snapped the ball in the first place.
