Deshon Elliot: "Missing assignments is for the 1st and 2nd week, not the 18th week"

Need to shut the fuck up permanently
Most of the guys on this team are either pussys or losers. In a lot of cases both

Steelers don’t deserve the division.
We suck balls and they are great.
Would you believe we both played 3 games in 11 days?
Haha! Get fucked, Fraudlin!

Trouble brewing in paradise in Steelers land?
The sense I am getting are the players are getting closer and closer of outing the person who they feel is a big part of the problem on defense.
Patrick Queen on the "slump" the defense is in:
“Can’t explain it, it’s happening. We keep talking about it. Nobody is doing a thing about it. ... if nobody does anything about what they are supposed to be doing then we don't have any room for it”
Followup:
"I don't know if we have to keep saying it. We have said it the last two or three weeks. It is at a point where you realize it and go out there and play fast and play physical and do your job."

I become a Lions fan if the Steelers are eliminated in the playoffs.
What the hell does that mean? The sense I am getting are the players are getting closer and closer of outing the person who they feel is a big part of the problem on defense.
Is it the coach that calls the plays or something? Who would that be?
Is it one player? Not likely.
"We, as an offensive collective were off today, and certainly, he's a component of that,"

Seems there’s a player or players in the secondary who isn’t figuring things out, or simply isn’t trying to figure things out.
Although, it seems there’s some shade being thrown at the coaching staff for not addressing the situation with that player, too.

Considering it's new guys talking about this, I kinda wonder whether they're talking about Minkah. He's been a non-entity this year.Louis Lipps Service wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2024 1:51 amI’m not sure about that.langer wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2024 1:33 amWhat the hell does that mean? The sense I am getting are the players are getting closer and closer of outing the person who they feel is a big part of the problem on defense.

What a joke. Professionals. No wonder it doesn’t get fixed. Nobody knows what the hell the problem is. Rip the band aid off. Is it Austin, Minkah, Secondary Coach.langer wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2024 1:33 amWhat the hell does that mean? The sense I am getting are the players are getting closer and closer of outing the person who they feel is a big part of the problem on defense.

My best guess is the culprit is Cam Sutton, seems like secondary mid-communication started happening about the time he entered the lineup.

Exhibit A (On it being Sutton) passes off Kelce thinking he had help.

Exhibit B - Sutton blitzes with only 2 defenders left to cover 3 receivers on his side, if this was the call has been one of the worst defensive strategies I’ve ever seen, Minkah has to choose between Hopkins and Kelce, I’m sure Mahomes eyes led him to Hopkins.

Queen and Roberts both take Hunt on this play for some reason, leaving Kelce uncovered….great strategy once again.

Cat is out of the bag, run quick game and Steelers are toast, can’t communicate on the back end for shit, wide open receivers all the time and as we saw against Eagles and Ravens huge running lanes created by going hurry up and using motion to confuse the defense, that’s coaching 100%
Are they playing this poorly on purpose? How is it this bad, you'd have to want it to be this bad. Good grief.
"We, as an offensive collective were off today, and certainly, he's a component of that,"
I saw a quote from Cam about GP running the wrong routes. Pickens might only have the smarts to run fly/go routes
When you see the writing on the wall, you are in the toilet. -- Fred Sanford
When you spent much of your week talking about "emotion" and lack attention to details as we have for 15 years, this is the result.
But this starts with Rooney:
1. He allowed Colbert to stay too long and have drafts conducted where we clearly didn't scout the whole nation and his drinking buddies were helping to make pics. We keep drafting for need rather than BPA.
2. He allowed the FO to keep overspending on certain D positions to the detriment of the whole team -- pouring money into assets that don't deliver or are declining. Spending money on declining assets is never a good thing.
3. He's allow Tomlin to conduct his unprofessional slop for 15 years -- big ego, terrible assistants, no attention to detail, no accountability, no creativity. Then he's jerked off to the media singing Tomlin's praises because they so badly want him to succeed even though he isn't capable of being a champion again.

Art 2 needs and intervention going on from his family members. Do they continue to pretend to fool most of the fanbase? (there are so many that are simply dumber than dirt not to see what they've been doing for 15 years now) - If Art's got any last straw left is the "Must win a playoff game" ultimatum from last offseason. Let's pray for the next drubbing and the internal fire starts on removing Tomlin and Art 2 stepping aside for new blood, blood that cares about Football. (lets hope on Dan Rooney Jr (Art2's Bro) & Dan Martin Rooney (Art2's son) - being ready to take over the ship)franco32 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2024 3:02 pmWhen you spent much of your week talking about "emotion" and lack attention to details as we have for 15 years, this is the result.

I think it goes off the rails because of Thanksgiving! He gives them too much time off or things get too loosey goosey with diet and discipline because of the Holiday Season; sprinkle in fund raising, food shelters, and toy drives.
Saw a stat a few weeks ago that says the Steelers are one of the teams that blitzes THE LEAST.
Fine and all when your All Star LB can beat their guys, but what about when they consistently can't?
The adjustments never come.

Made Up Quotes:
“VRBO sure has some good deals in January!” Several players and coaches.
“I fucking hate playing for Mike Tomlin, and it dribbled out through my brother yesterday on National TV” TJ
“My brother is my binky!” Cam
“I can’t wait to retire” Minkah
“I should have quit coaching when Marvin fired me” Austin
“This Hard Knocks makes me look cool! I am going to insist to Deuce we try to do this every year!”

This is precisely who it is and I knew it before you laid out the evidence.StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2024 4:06 amMy best guess is the culprit is Cam Sutton, seems like secondary mid-communication started happening about the time he entered the lineup.
Beanie Bishop hasn’t played at all basically since Sutton came off suspension. Secondary now looks like ASS. Sutton is cooked, he’s terrible, slow, and dumber than a box of rocks. He literally has no idea what he’s doing back there.
A “Tomlin guy” gets the nod over Bishop who has been developing and having a fine rookie season as an undrafted.
Players are pissed. Rightfully so.

Fitapaldo was leaning towards Minkah! He illustrated his point with Queen saying they knew about the play to the flats and had a signal for it and it was identified during the game, and Minkah still couldn’t stop it and the guy scored. The play before that Minkah was reading and not reacting and it cost us 6-7 yards.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2024 7:22 pmThis is precisely who it is and I knew it before you laid out the evidence.StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2024 4:06 amMy best guess is the culprit is Cam Sutton, seems like secondary mid-communication started happening about the time he entered the lineup.
