Pickett starting today

Post by Works At A Bank » Sun Dec 29, 2024 5:50 pm

Figured I’d start a thread if anyone wanted to discuss Pickett shitting the bed today or if he does well…the apologists can defend their guy. Should be fun :D

In 2nd drive Eagles moved the ball, because Barkley had 3 touches, including direct snap to him on 2nd down. Then Sirianni punts on 4th and 1.

3 and out
3 and out
Does a cartwheel fumble because somebody touched his arm but was bailed out by defensive holding.

People give Brock Purdy shit for being excellent with a strong supporting cast. What does Kenny deserve for being shit despite having an excellent o line, RB and receivers while playing a bad defense?

24 points in a half...that's about two games under Tomlin/Canada.

Play was reversed (complete for 49 yards, down at 1 yard line). 2 plays later he rushes for 1-yard TD.

Fair enough, but he is doing much better in this system and they are moving again.

TD pass nullified by holding.

He has a 68 QB rating this year in Philly. The only game he got significant playing time before today they lost and he inherited a solid lead. And he’s left injured last week and again today.

Again no one is claiming he is the second coming of Elway. But he is a decent NFL backup. Not sure how its his fault that Parsons hurt him.

Even the guy who hasn’t played in years is throwing TD passes now.

He’s just soft. Parsons hit him standing shoulder to chest, never fell on him or followed through. “Decent backup” is a long way from first QB selected in the 1st round of the draft.

Keon Coleman making some sick plays.

Meanwhile that dumbfuck midget from Michigan that we drafted can’t even get a hat.

This team is run by complete idiots.

And we should have signed Baker Mayfield when we had the chance.

Organizations matter.

Philly would have trounced PS with third string QB.

Well, if we have thread about our former backup QBs, Bibberty just lost to Mac Jones.

For the offense that Tomlin and Smith are running, Laundry Jones or any hand off monkey will do at QB. A better allocation of resources would've been if they just overpaid for Derrick Henry and let him run the ball 35 times a game. That guy is durable.

Smash mouth baby

I think most here liked Rudolph. His biggest drawback was pocket awareness. He didn’t have any lol

Kenny Picket might get a SB ring before any current Steeler. FWIW
Secure NHALS early and then go deep into the PLAYOFFS. :D :D :D

Patrick Mahomes couldn’t win a SB with Mike Tomlin. Nothing else matters.

I'm starting to think Ben was kind of special.

James Harrison TD was really special and the only reason Tomlin won a ring with Cowher's guys.

Pickett OR Brian Flores more likely to win than any Steeler still on the roster.

James Harrison is an all-timer, stats be damned. I watched him play.

Still, Ben had it. He could be infuriating. He could also go off and pull magic out of his ass and coaching had nothing to do with it whatsoever.
