Amazing how Ben played as a rookie. Notice very few shotgun on offense, guys running open over the middle. To bad this is many years away, if ever from happening again.

These were the days. It was fun being a Steelers fan back then even though we were having some struggles.

They did a bit on rookies in conference championship games on First Things First yesterday and conveniently forgot to mention Ben. Most underrated/slept on great rookie QB season ever.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...
One of the most disappointing ends of a season (1976 tops it for me), really thought we were going all the way with Ben that year. But yeah, it was a great team that played hard every down. And Ben was like manna falling from heaven, praise the Lord at last we got another one after 20+ years in the wilderness!
Those back to back complete demolition wins over the eventual SB teams (Iggles and Pats) were just amazing.
Down 24-3 at the half to the Pats in the AFCCG after barely holding on to beat the Jets, not so much. When Cowher called for the FG at the start of the fourth down 31-17, fourth and goal from the one or two with Heinz Field rocking over their potential comeback, you knew they were done. Iggles-Stillers would have been a SB for the ages!

Seriously, one of the most impressive 2 weeks of football i can remember by any team. The Iggles and Pats were dominant against everyone else and we absolutely rolled over them both.
Teams didn't like coming to Pittsburgh, they had to rise to the level of the Steelers.
That hasn't happened for years.
Yet we have a HC who struts around pounding his chest. Idiot. Can't be humbled or be self-conscious in the slightest.
Shit mindset.
This game is incredible. Imposing their will.

Love the block by Lester. I also like how they didn't rush 4 all game and let Tony Banks have a career game. Creative blitzing. When was the last time we saw a blowout like that, with Jim Miller and Tomczak at qb. Now I'm even more depressed
