This the same Milroe who's underthrowing deep balls at the Senior Bowl practice? I don't see the Quarterback in that guy. Seems like a good kid and I hope he makes a lot of money before they figure out he's not a QB.Professor Half Wit wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 7:55 pmWorked out for the Bills.

Oh, I don’t think Milroe has prayer in hell to be Allen. I’m saying if there’s a prospect with elite tools, but also accuracy problems, you might want to take a gamble.bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 9:02 pmThis the same Milroe who's underthrowing deep balls at the Senior Bowl practice? Allen is the unicorn that lures teams to QB hell. Wil Levis and Anthony Richardson are the latest high draft picks lured in.Professor Half Wit wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 7:55 pmWorked out for the Bills.

Could probably include Caleb Williams to that list. I don't think he's got the brains. Time will tell if Ben Johnson is a QB whisperer.jebrick wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 1:34 pmAllen is the unicorn that lures teams to QB hell. Wil Levis and Anthony Richardson are the latest high draft picks lured in.
The scary part is Fields was a more mature passer coming out of college than what Milroe is showing. IMHO, Milroe's floor is below Fields.

Trade for Joe Milton. It probably takes 1/3 of the draft capital to get Milton compared to Milroe and Milton has way better tools.Professor Half Wit wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 12:03 amOh, I don’t think Milroe has prayer in hell to be Allen. Hard no on Joe Milton. Watched him play a ton at Tennessee. The guy is inaccurate with no touch. If you're going to take any young guy, go for Hendon Hooker.bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 4:26 pmTrade for Joe Milton. Did you watch him play ... in the NFL? He looked like a reborn QB. I'm a big fan of his QB coach. Maybe some of the coaching stuck. Hooker was a much, much better college QB than Milton... but that doesn't mean he's a better NFL prospect. He's also 2.5 years older than Milton, with a significant injury history.14Thumb wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 6:49 pmHard no on Joe Milton. Watched him play a ton at Tennessee. Be interesting to see what the Pats do with Milton. In limited time, I'd say he flashed as much as Maye did with the time each had factored in.

You guys are looking for a unicorn. An athlete that can run and throw accurately, with a big arm, isn't lasting past 10.
The question then is can Tomlin & Co. spot a real, raw talent? And the better question is can they develop him? And, finally, can he survive their caveman offense without destroying his confidence? Obviously the answer to all 3 questions is a resounding "NO".
Just say not to QB until Tomlin is gone. Maybe a late round pick that rots the pine for 2 years can be resurrected if Tomlin is gone by then.

You nailed the depressing part, Kodiak.

This is where I am. Dumbest thing the team could do right now is give Jibbs another 1st round QB.Just say not to QB until Tomlin is gone.
Sign Fields, pair with veteran back-up, take a later round QB to fill out the QB room.
Ride that till this cunt is gone.
No way his opinion on QBs nor his ability to develop one can be trusted.
He could turn a gold nugget into a turd.

What’s up with this Elgersma dude? Is a late mid rounder worth gambling on that guy?bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 4:26 pmTrade for Joe Milton.
