Revis
Ohhh dude
Bad draft memory right there
Big mouth Tomlin telling anyone and everyone he loved Revis.
Rex and the Jets traded up right in front of us.
Lawrence Timmons was decent, but man Revis and Woodley would’ve been filthy.

Believing that the 2025 draft even if perfect will make a difference is like believing Skenes will save the Pirates.
The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

The Steelers' pre-draft visitors for today are Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord, Minnesota cornerback Justin Walley and Texas running back Jaydon Blue. #Steelers #NFL
If we are to believe the previous reports, the Tuesday pre-draft visitors could be: R.J. Harvey, Darius Alexander and a mystery guest. #Steelers #NFL
They seem interested in some speed RBs.

Several of these RBs would be a great play if we hadn't traded R2 and paid $150 million for DK Metcalf without a QB to throw to him.

I Hope, I Hope, I Hope. Dude gots some serious skills. Haven't had a RB with breakaway speed since FWP. I wonder if Henderson will make it to the 2nd RD.

My bet is that he either goes in the late 1st or very early 2nd. I've had him as my #2 RB. His vision and speed are great.

Would you make some kinda trade to move into the 2nd (early 2nd most like it) to draft Henderson?

I would not take any RB in the 1st unless it were the 2nd coming of Earl Campbell. If they could trade back into the 2nd and get him I would not complain as much but I would rather have a DL early.

From where they sit in the 3rd, top of the second would be a BIG ask in terms of draft capital. Goes back to what B2B's (among others) been saying about the foolishness of giving up big draft AND cap assets for Metcalf. Really hamstrung them in a draft where a lot of the value is in rounds 2-4.

They clearly did that to entice Rodgers. Which would make it even more of an epic fail if Rodgers never signs.
But I'm seeing rumors of PIT looking to move Pickens. That would have made sense as a hedge, that if things went south on Rodgers they'd just trade the disgruntled receiver. They don't have anyone to spend their cap min on, so that's a non-starter. And I'd assume Pickens can at least recover what they gave up for Metcalf.

I'd be both unbelievably surprised and pleased if Pickens netted a 2 this year. Late 3rd or 4th seems a little more realistic given last year's antics. He's more of a fixer-upper than a turnkey now I'd think, and he'd likely net that 3rd as a comp, anyway. I'm not saying he's untradable, but it'd be difficult to get great value.
I agree on the Metcalf trade AND signing. Stoopid.

You get a free rental year PLUS a likely R3 comp if you don't extend him. That usually works out to at least a late R2/early R3 in value. And depends on how much baggage a team thinks he really has versus being frustrated in a caveman offense.
Wouldn't surprise me if they could get a mid-R2 for Pickens. Of course, the potential R3 comp sets a floor for PIT, and if teams aren't willing to pay up at least a little then a deal won't happen.
I have to believe Pickens is done. They aren't going to pay him after locking up that much in Metcalf, and Pickens clearly sees the writing on the wall. That won't go well heading into the season. Trade him now before the situation deteriorates.

Lot to agree with there, but 31 other GMs all know it, too, unfortunately. I'll hope for that r2, but they all know we're missing that, too. I can hear the lowball offers now. Let's say a prayer to Jobu something works out our way this offseason.

Fair, but Pickens doesn't have quite the issues and baggage DJ had. I think there's a real market for Pickens, so a team that wants him won't be able to lowball.
We'll see. I just hope they don't ship him off for less than a mid-R3 (or similar value with an equivalent C1 guy on his last year). Even then, if you're not getting much of a return there's no reason to further weaken an already thin group.
