Jonnu Smith. Tacobelle Patterson. No #2 receiver. Mason Rudolph.
Yeah, in case I needed a reminder as to why I bailed on Sunday Ticket next season.
This franchise is a total disaster.

I’m not gonna get all worked up about Adam Schefter rumors, and while the idea of having a playmaking tight end is appealing, it would seem to replace Freiermuth, who was on year two of a fairly sizable extension
My guess is this may be some form of insurance in case they are unable to land a legitimate number two receiver
Just guessing

What’s the point ???
Just another pointless “move” that wastes money and draft capital on a player who won’t move the needle one bit
Jonuu Smith

Yep
Tomlin and Colbert sank the ship
Art 2 enabled them
Now Weidl/khan are stuck trying to cleanup this shit without a shovel.
Rodgers + Uncles Arties boy Jonnu + a Packers WR castoff = NHALS
All Art 2 and Tomlin want is to pass Chuck Noll for most regular season wins in franchise history.
Then what?
My hope is both of these jerkoffs then move on with their life’s work.

I don’t watch as many non-Steeler games as I used to due to time restraints, so I’m basing this completely on his year to year stat lines.
But that said, last year was his best year (out of 8 seasons) and he wants a new contract. His other seasons were pretty mediocre (only 1 other season above 3 TDs, and only 1 other season above 500 yards). Maybe that was due to other factors, I dunno. His other teams certainly weren’t pass heavy teams, to be fair. But I’d be concerned we end up overpaying him based on one Pro Bowl season (which wasn’t even all that impressive. Did a bunch of other TEs drop out before he got invited?) before regressing back to his norm. Especially when we just gave a long term contract to another TE.
And then giving up any draft capital on top of that when we need to move up to get a QB next season makes this a bad move, in my mind.

I think a lot of the news we are seeing from the Steelers FO, is nothing more than posturing.
They are creating activity in the media, so that it looks like they are making an effort to upgrade the offensive skill positions, with only marginal intent.
IF they can get a bargain basement deal, they'll do it, otherwise, they'll go into the season with what they have; and give the "well, we tried, but it didn't work out" excuse.
This, to a degree, includes the Aaron Rodgers BS- AND whatever is going on with TJ Watt. (I'm not convinced they have any desire to pay an OLB $30M-$40M) So they have to make it look like they tried, and failed, vs not trying at all.

It’s cute these dipshits actually believe they are but a player here and a player there away from being legitimate contenders.
Really cute. Makes me wanna snuggle Jibbs like a lil Teddy Bear.

He’s talented for sure but he was working within the Mike McDaniel offensive wizardry and that guy can scheme open a traffic cone.Louis Lipps Service wrote: ↑Fri May 30, 2025 1:52 pmI don’t watch as many non-Steeler games as I used to due to time restraints, so I’m basing this completely on his year to year stat lines.

He comes to Pittsburgh he will be a slightly better version of what we already have that will see far less touches and will be susceptible to frequent injury because of his primary blocking role.
Couple that with a “pay raise” and I have to ask what the hell are we even doing.

Haven’t figured that out yet??Couple that with a “pay raise” and I have to ask what the hell are we even doing.
This team is no longer bout winning. This team is now about giving off the perception they are trying to win and be competitive.
That and insulating Captain Bullshit as much as possible from blame and/or responsibility for any of it.
The sooner a new Rooney is in charge the better. This one is a dud.

Except for the TJ bit. They’ll pay that cat. I wouldn’t. But they will forgive it out. He’s not going anywhere.
Also, the square peg round hole is Fraudlins MO. That and his film junkie moniker needs to disappear or maybe someone can point to something I missed because he hasn’t changed a thing in years. Lines up the most basic offense and defense with zero scheme and says execute!
Not a shred of scheme or coaching. He puts garbage. In and gets garbage out. Game after game, year after year. Every season is mediocre slip and slather. Yay, 500 and a playoff ass beating. Been doing this shit for so long ex players joked about us this off season about us still doing the same stupid slop and slather with no adjustments.
Fucking embarrassment.
