You would never have gotten the opportunity to spit on me because I have self control and emotional intelligence. Ramsey knew things got heated with Chase on the previous play. They just made a big stop. He needs to walk away and consider the team not feed his own ego. There was no reason to run back up to him and start talking shit again. Ramsey instigated that every bit as much as Chase did.

A disciplined coach would use this as a teaching point to the team. Tomlin will not. I know that because stupid shit like this continuously happens and Tomlin never has an appropriate response.

Stephen A Smith thinks Chase should get a 2 game suspension. 1 for spitting and 1 for lying.

I would add to that any fine money Chase has to pay should be given to Ramsey as restitution.

Chase clearly baited Ramsey by spitting on him and then just standing there not defending himself so he wouldn't get ejected.

I don't disagree about the ejection. But expecting a man not to retaliate after being spat upon is a "bridge too far" for me. I can understand the game refs not seeing Chase spitting on Ramsey but now the whole world can see what provoked Ramsey into grabbing the face mask. The apology should be for missing that and not ejecting both.
I only know of ICE and other LE personnel being trained and disciplined enough to not overreact when getting spat on most of the time.

Tape don’t lie. Shortly after he denied spitting on Ramsey in Week 11’s loss to the Steelers, videos emerged that clearly showed Chase spitting on Ramsey during a scuffle between the two in the fourth quarter. Ramsey was ejected for punching Chase following the incident, but the league appears to have sided with him in this matter. Chase can and will appeal the league’s decision to suspend him if he chooses to do so, but the evidence is pretty convincing. Chase will miss Week 12’s game against the Patriots if the suspension is upheld.
