Sanders isn't bad enough to replace but not good enough to get you to the dance

They're in purgatory, but it's because of Watson. View Sanders as essentially the back-up QB forced to start. They can't afford anything more at the QB position until they can dump Watson and his massive cap hit, which I think won't be for another year or two.

Sanders is bad.

Haslam wanted to draft him and put Stefanski in a bad spot.

Haslam loves the attention and jersey sales that Sanders brought to the Browns. Watson will probably never play for the Browns again, but he should. He’s a better QB than Sanders or anyone else on that roster.

If they don’t draft a QB in the 1st round next year, I’ll be surprised... what HC would want to come in there and not draft his own QB? I wouldn’t take that job just to have Shedeur shoved down my throat.

Maybe they will hire Prime Time.

How much longer are they saddled with Watson's $250,000,000 contract?

Don't see this at all. Nothing Sanders did will even come close to forcing the next coach's or Berry's hands with regards to the QB position.

It'll be funny if they do avoid taking a QB. A very Browns-like decision if I ever saw one, but yea I don't think anything but a very small albeit vocal minority of fans would care.

Just heard his season stats 56% completion 7 TDs to 10 INTs.

He was just good enough to move them out of position to get a franchise QB.

Cleveland is the absolute gold standard for a failed franchise. And I'm not even talking about firing Belichick and starting the diaspora of one of the all time greatest coaching staffs ever assembled on a single football team.

You want to talk about fans lining up for a diarrhea shower every year and then thanking the shit shower faucet....

Today I listened to Jimmy Haslam's explanation as to why they fired a two time coach of the year and then kept the GM who traded three first round picks a third and two fourths for a habitual sex pest who was going to be suspended for an entire season, and drummed the QB they drafted, an OROY that took them to an AFCC and barely lost to the eventual super bowl champs right out of town. What an absolute fucking clown of an owner. If those fans carried him out of town in tar and feathers impaled on a pitchfork tomorrow, i'd completely understand.

This is probably what will end up happening, I have almost no doubt, and it will be glorious....Prime might be the most overrated coach ever.

It's comical the second Stephanski got canned that he already had 3 interviews lined up in seconds, too bad Steelers made playoffs, even if Tomlin retires after the season Stephanski will likely already have a job.

Dillion Gabriel was a better QB than Sanders: 59.5% completion, 937 yards, 5.1 average, 7TD - 2 int., 80.8 rating
Sanders: 56.5% , 1400 , 6.6 , 7 - 10 , 68.1

Huge difference with the TD/ Ints!
