If we wanted an established HC instead of a up and coming coordinator why wouldn't we have interviewed former Bill's HC Sean McDermott?

He said he was taking a year off (but that didn't come down until late last week); so you can say they were already going to take McCarthy before McD was fired.

this is my biggest gripe. You had a proven coach who was current. He should have at least gotten a shot.
