Re: This team fucking sucks
Every year we hear about winners and lovers during and right after the draft but the real results don't show up for 1-2 years.
Hell, how many times have the Browns been declared big winners in the draft but the team still sucks year after year after year after year .......
The Steelers seem to have addressed several positions of need if the choices pan out.
I too am less than enthusiastic about the Aller pick but I'd be OK with him and Howard battling it out for QB1.
After the pick I'd love it if they told Rogers to pound sand. By the end of last season he looked old afraid to get hit - we don't need that "leading" our team.
We need to figure out if anyone on the roster is the QB of the future or if we need to.be aggressive next year. Another middling season wont do that.
The key with most of these will be how well they are coached. We've had limited success with the O-line since Munchak left so hopefully Campen can start getting more put of the trenches than we've seen in recent years.

not sure how it looked on tv, but this place was loud and emotional for the heidenreich pick... it was awesome

Is what it is, but let's see what things look like 4 years from now.
Day 1 grade: A
Day 2 grade: A
Day 3 grade: B
Analysis: Kevin Colbert had an excellent final draft as the Steelers' GM, getting value without trading away picks. He grabbed a future starting quarterback in the experienced, mobile Pickett, found a falling receiver in Pickens, who will be a playmaker, and took a shot on the potential upside of the long, athletic five-technique Leal in the third round.
Austin's a nice complement to Pickens in the early fourth round, and I projected Pittsburgh selecting Pro Bowler Cam Heyward's brother, Connor, in the sixth round of my seven-round mock draft as a fullback/H-back. Oladokun has the mobility and arm to work his way into a roster spot this year or next, if he ends up on the practice squad for 2022. The team needed depth on defense, as well, but since no selections were made on that side of the ball, you can bet they will try to land some undrafted rookie free agents.

Pickens was worthy of his pick but a head case we had to boot.
When CAIII ends up your longest tenured player you failed.

Considering how our past A and B grade drafts worked out maybe its good that this is a D draft. George Constanza opposite theory and all that.
The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

Fuck this team indeed.
If the 195 is real, at least he’s not short and skinny
