He'd at least be allowed to play here according to his strengths.
I don't know how messed up he is after years of being misused, though.

If Ziggy could be signed for a cheap price we could use the depth and he is better than Thomas.

Wouldn't be the first time a former Steeler made it back home. Would be an upgrade over scam for sure.

Before we get too excited about Ziggy, know the Jags released him from the Injured Reserve, where he has been since mid-September with a Foot Injury.

Separate thread covering all the various people/things/creatures/inanimate objects that would be an improvement over Thomas? I'll start with an Aaron Smith Fathead.

If Ziggy's injured, I would seriously sign Brett Keisel, he says he's healthy, training, and wants to play for the Steelers only.

If he passed the test and is healthy why not since Butler brand of Defense is more fits his style, I still always have a spot for 99 but not sure if that an option.

I'd take a 99 year old Keisel over Ziggy Hood, because he's bad. It had nothing to do with being misused...he is just bad.
And yes...he is Cam Thomas bad!

I'd take a camshaft, an overhead cam, a camisole, or camouflage over Cam Thomas.

I don't know enough about the backstory behind Ziggy getting the boot in Jaguarland, but I'd certainly support bringing him in for a look.

Please god no more Cam Thomas. If they coached him up just to lay down on the ground at the snap of the ball, it'd be better than what he's shown.

Surely someone can just teach him to "grab grass" on the snap of the ball, right? That would be preferable to being blocked backwards 7 yards into the lap of someone who at least ostensibly belongs on a football field.

I feel obligated to remind everyone that it is, in fact, possible that Ziggy Hood could be worse than Cam Thomas. He was cut mid-season by the Jaguars despite being apparently healthy enough to pass a physical, after all.

But we've had such good luck with Jaguars castoffs this year...

So when's Keisel coming to town?
He's old but Mormon years barely count.
