Any Ben Defenders Left?

Post by StillerInCT » Sat Jan 02, 2016 3:35 pm

I think this is the year we invest in a 1st Round QB. Maybe trade up for Goff? Ben is WAY past his prime, he's overweight, and he makes dumb decisions. Tomlin's window is closing and we can't sacrifice the prime years of a HOF coach with a sub-par QB like Ben. Do you think we can trade him and help us move up?

Brilliant offensive strategy, game in and game out. Every play call is perfection
Defense only rivaled by Steel Curtain
Unworldy special teams.
Coaching staff make Noll look like a low grade moron.

Yeah lets dump Big Dumb. That will make it all bettuh

It's time to start the Landry Jones era. If fat Ben can't accept a backup roll, trade his lard ass to Cleveland for a day 3 pick...the worthless fat fuck!

Awesome. Mikey T has been saddled with so much dead weight. Once Ben is replaced he will finally be in a position to flex his HOF coaching muscles. Cant come soon enough if you ask me. Tomlin has been such a good sport through this whole thing, its time he gets his due. I heard he had his eye on Geno Smith.

People talk like inheriting a HOF QB is a gift that makes winning easier...

But I'd contend keeping said QB happy and enabling him to rack up Peyton Manning-like whorish regular season stats actually detracts from winning games with effective and efficient attrition football.

What Tomlin really needs isn't a HOF QB, but a HOF punter to flip field position.

Very true
And if we could free up that cap space from the big time QB we could afford to resign willbe gay and bring in more top pick LBs with great combine stats.

Frankly I'm just tired of the defense doing their job of holding teams under 600 yards from scrimmage and 40 points only to have Ben fuck it up in the end.

In the Steelers' six losses this season, the defense has surrendered 28, 23, 23, 16, 39, and 20 points.

Can we get this guy?

He called his own plays, was the best athlete on the field, earned the respect of Hall of Famers by being clutch against Hall of Famers...in a league where you could kill the QB:
