Landry Jones' World, we just live in it
Never happier to be wrong about a player...
But we can still beat on Tomlin for not putting him a long time ago.

Turnovers are the name of the game and this defense is getting them. This season isn't anything like what I expected. When Ben went down I figured that was it. Impressive win boys. Damn impressive.

Bert Jones rules!
Fuck Vick. That is all.

Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Unbelievable this is the same guy we have watched in the preseason the last 3 years.
He went from one of the worst QB's I've ever seen to a competent professional.

Top offense held to 13 points.
Unfuckingbelieveable.

Kudos to him. I thought he was utter shit in preseason. Way to step up when his number was called. May need a repeat performance on the road next week at KC

I cannot believe what I just saw this kid do.
He looked comfortable as fuck dissecting the Cardinals secondary like they were a bunch of high schoolers.
Props to the o-line for keeping him upright.

Wow, just wow. The kid showed amazing poise for his first game. He's going to be wearing a smile for the entire week! That was damn impressive.

No one (fan) really knew what they had in L. Jones. Until today Jones was nothing to this franchise outside of a clipboard holder. Proved to everyone today he infact belongs on the roster. I'm very happy about that myself. It equaled a win in an otherwise very close game.
Alot, I mean A LOT of the credit goes to the Steeler defense. Not Debatable!

Impressive. Villa pulled on one of Bell's rushes and broke him open a nice lane. Something you never expect to see from a LT. Think Beachum is cappable of doing that? Villa is nimble and quick for 6'9 320+ and that wingspan/length is just the cherry on that cake. Loved it.

Jones has some good time because of that big man in particular.
Jones first three throws were bad overthrow, touchdown, interception, which came in the best possible place. Just have to have Haley put him in position to do good things. Having Bryant do a ridiculous catch and run doesn't hurt either.

Landry showed good poise and got the ball out kick to his playmakers but Martavis made the cardinals secondary look silly.

Stoudt, Brister, Malone, and Tomczak all had some wins. I'm just happy I remember how to spell Stoudt and Tomczak.

Jones showed accuracy and awareness. Last time the team when from pathetic to an actual NFL QB was Maddox subbing for Kordell. I'm actually amped to see Jones and Villy start next week. Having Bryant back doesnt hurt either. Same goes for AB once again being a weapon

All I want to know after that performance is can we trade him for two #1's after the season now?

Mike Kruczek who?

The league apologized for the way that Browns game ended. Graham was right, they had one more play, but the fans (Kordell fans) gave him shit anyway. Graham wasnt even brought here to start. That happened because Kordell played preseason like a sack of shit. Cowher never wanted Graham to start and pretty much said so in a Tuesday presser. That said Graham was scattershot and erratic.
OTOH without Graham does the team rally around Kordell and with that give him the confidence to lead? Which lead to his fall and the rise of Maddox. Then the OL turning to shit and leading to Ben and two Lombardis. With that said: No Kent Graham, no Lombardis. You never know how things are going to turn out.
I have no problem with one Kent Graham.

When asked earlier, James Harrison stated, "He's our QB now" I guess Landry didn't expect to be the center of dicussion at the podium today. LOL!

Lovin Landry now, but he is a hipster as is clear in this picture. That's ok, I like hipsters, except that Cubs manager.
