There's no way this list is legit. It doesn't include Manziel disguised as Brady.

Who would you remove on that list to include Ben.
The guy that went to 6 superbowls and won 4, incliding the last one? The guy that went to the last 2 superbowls and won one? The guy that will be this year's mvp and won 15 games? Or the guy that won 13 games, got his team a bye, threw for 35 TD's to 11 int's and 8.7 ypa?
Granted none of that guarantees any will be the last qb to win a game this year....but it's a reasonable list.

All of those guys had better seasons than Ben.

They said "best QB in the playoffs" not the regular season.
Tell me exactly what the fuck Carson Palmer and Cam Newton have ever done in the playoffs?

This is a different "season."
What they did the last 17 weeks means dick now.

Playoff success and experience should receive some weight, no?

I personally love that Ben flies under the radar like this. He hasn't played great the last few weeks... I have to think he has a lot to prove, and knows that he's being disrespected. I look forward to him proving his naysayers wrong again.

If so, the question cannot be answered until after the playoffs are over.
As for Ben, we have to go back to 2008 to find a playoff run with more TDs than INTs or a rating of 80 or higher. That's a long time ago. So it's not like the doubters have no reason to be skeptical.
Fortunately Ben has the opportunity to change there minds now.

Can you go back and analyze Cam Newton and Carson Palmer's playoff runs?

Way to go out on a limb, retard.
Fortunately, the playoffs are a completely different season.

Ben Roethlisberger is not a perfect QB...but it amazes me the lengths that the supposed fans of his own team go to to diminish and disrespect his efforts and everything he's accomplished for the franchise, the city, the fans. Steelers fans will crawl out of the woodwork and line up to suck the dick of Hines Ward, James Harrison, Franco Harris. But their Super Bowl winning QB? Nope...not good enough...gotta prove it to me...what have you done for me lately. It's no wonder Terry Bradshaw said "fuck you Pittsburgh" for all those years.

They also haven't thrown one bonehead interception per game as Roethlisberger did this season. He doesn't belong on this list until proven otherwise.

Fortunately, what any of them did for the past 17 weeks is completely meaningless now.

Unfortunately there are fans who watch games and are wanting to win the game they are watching, want results this game. Hines Ward, Troy Polamalu, and James Harrison are 3 players I absolutely loved in their prime. Loved. As I watched Hines in his last season I was amazed at how much he lost, speed quickness wise and said dude is done, gotta go. Exact same for Troy. This year as I watch James I see the man has explosiveness, lost that strength and ability to get under the tackles pads and get around the corner. He is done, at least in my opinion. Gotta go cause its about today. But I will never disparage any of their accomplishments, ever. They WERE great.
Both Manning and Rogers have had great seasons in the past, won super bowls, should their fans be irate they were not mentioned?

Ben's post-season record has not been Montanaesque. Probably the most impressive one was the AFCC vs. Den that got them to SB40 and the 4th qtr of SB43.

If we win, I hope the team winning out of KC and Houston fucks up Brady and Co.
Not even can I not begin to handle another NE appearance in the SB, but I can't handle them in AFCC game.
Fuck that team.

No one's disrespecting Ben.
Just getting tired of the constant ball washing and the whining when he doesn't get "respected" as people think he should.
Ben has not been good in the playoffs for some time...he needs to prove it to start getting worthy of that respect again.
So stop being so butthurt.
And me personally...I don't care how much respect Ben gets so long as the Steelers get #7 or seriously threaten for it.

Best may be debatable, worst is not. Hoyer is establishing the Mendoza line for playoffs. I feel for his family watching this. Maybe he turns it around, big maybe.

Let's see who wins/loses the next two weeks before worrying about meaningless lists.
