Best way/place to get tickets for Broncos/Steelers game?

Post by Legacy User » Thu Jan 14, 2016 10:33 pm

I've always wanted to go see a NFL/Steelers game and now I have a chance. I live here in Colorado, I'm about a hour away from the stadium where will will be playing Sunday. What's the best/cheapest way to get tickets for a game like this? Any suggestions? I'm looking to go with my father so we'll need 2 tickets. I'm hoping the prices aren't too ridiculous, what would you guys estimate a ticket will cost so that way I'll have an idea of what to expect?

There were all kinds of horror stories in Kansas City about people getting scammed with fake tickets for the World Series. Before you buy anything, make sure there is some sort of guarantee. Yes, stubhub and ticketmaster have ridiculous transaction fees, but it beats the hell out of being screwed over:

Seatgeek is good. It's looks at all the sites, stubhub, ticketmaster, etc all at once and finds you the best deals.

I haven't pulled the trigger on seats yet...prices have been dropping, and I expect them to continue to do so. Make sure you swing by the tailgate...it's shaping up to be a dandy...As for seats, I use Seat Geek, Stub Hub, and the Ticket Exchnage. Watch out for sellers on Seat Geek using TN Direct. Their tickets are multiply listed and a lot of times the ones you buy aren't the ones you get.

Drive to Mile High.

Look for the Broncos fan who looks the weakest.

Kick his ass.

Take his ticket.

Voila. Free football.

And if you're hungry, steal his lunch money, too. And get yourself a hot dog which is also a sandwich.

I always use stubhub or nflticketexchange. Their tickets are guaranteed and most are instant download, so you can get them hours before the game still. I always wait until the day before the game to purchase as sellers who can't go get a litte more desperate to recoup some of their money. I have had friends get burned on ebay and craigslist with fake tickets. Even had a guy come to my seat with his kid at a game with a hard ticket same as my downloaded ticket. Had to go to security to get it worked out. He had a fake he bought from a scalper at the stadium turns out. Had to leave the stadium, felt bad for him and the kid cause he paid good money for fake tickets. Lady at security told me the downloaded ones were always the legit ones.

Haha, I only eat hot dog sandwiches plain. Just the dog. No cheese, no mustard, no relish, no ketchup.
