Post by JackLambert58 » Sun Jan 08, 2017 10:07 pm

Fittapaldo just tweeted Ben has a boot on his ankle.

Relax. He didn't even have a trainer look at him during the game. I'm sure he'll be ok.

Still dumb having him drop back on 3rd and long late in the game with nothing to gain.

You would think by now ben would know better, but he doesn't, always looking to make a play, even when there is no need.

Gamers always gonna game. Dumb yes agreed, he shouldn't be in the game tho. Its beyond a no brainer and its not the 1st time this has happened to one of Tomlins players, you'd think hed have learned by now.

That shit is life. I give both of them a pass. Previous history allows me to give them a pass.

Ben is Ben. He tries to extend plays, with no regard for his health. Maybe not having him drop back to throw at all at that point in the game. I dont think it would be considered turtling with an 18 point lead and 4 minutes left. Just smart fucking football.

Should have been Laundry handing it off to DWill at the time.

No, that's on the dumb fuck coach for trusting Ben to go in and play safe. It's not in his DNA. That's where coaching is supposed to come in. Ben jacked his ankle and shoulder on that meaningless play. At least they won the division and a playoff game this year. Should keep Tomlin's job safe.

For three quarters they played like they couldn't decide whether to turtle or not. The game was never quite out of hand, yet there was no chance Miami was going to win.

In my game notes, I wrote...

Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid stupid....

as I saw our qb landing on his shrowing shoulder with 4+ left in the game.

Ever sprained an ankle before? It hurts at first, but you can still run on it. Wake up the next morning and you feel like you can't put weight on it . We'll see what happens. Regardless it was an injury to the most indespensible player because we don't live in our fears, or something.

I heard it's Leveon Bell's offense now.

I half-seriously blame AB, because if he catches the two extremely uncharacteristic drops, the Steelers have 40 points there, and everybody is out of the game.
