He and his brother were killed last night. Apparently hit by a car while bike riding.

Absolutely tragic. And their sister's wedding was supposed to be today.

Kinda feel like this franchise is cursed:

Police say the driver who struck the brothers is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

Police say 43-year-old Sean M. Higgins, of Woodstown, New Jersey, was traveling north on County Route 551 in a Jeep Grand Cherokee when he allegedly attempted to pass a slower-moving sedan and SUV.

Higgins entered the southbound lanes of the roadway and passed the sedan.

When he attempted to reenter the northbound lanes, police say the SUV in front of him moved into the middle of the roadway, splitting the north and south lanes in order to safely pass two bicyclists on the right side of the road.

Higgins then attempted to pass the SUV on the right and struck the Gaudreau brothers from behind, troopers said.

The Gaudreau brothers died from their injuries, according to state police.

This one still hurts.
So senseless.
Impaired driving is the obvious culprit here but how a lot of drivers treat and respond to cyclists on the road is a big problem. As someone who drives for a job I see it all the time on roads where bikes are numerous.
In PA move over 4 feet and slow down. That is the operators responsibility and it isn't asking too much.

Too many people just don't care and are looking to get where they are going a few minutes quicker.
And this instance it cost four families.

Matthew's wife is pregnant with their first child and is due December.

This tragedy gets more sad every day. Johnny’s wife put out release today that she too is pregnant.
