I think EK there might work. He is good on entries. He obviously has very good vision so there are plays to be made by him passing cross ice. Finally, he does have a good shot so if teams overload you can get it him to hit a one timer. I'd prefer if Karlsson wasn't on the first PP at all but I do think the adjustment where he is playing more below the dots is good one. Malkin one-timer is still their best weapon, Karlsson attacking either opens that up or can find someone crashing the net, as he did last night. But EK playing at the blue line and taking shots without distributing the puck was bery, bery bad last year.
