Not impressed with Johnston so far.

Team is getting healthier yet somehow getting worse.

A lot of pieces have been in and out of the lineup. I'm typically a bit more of an optimist, so maybe take this with a grain of salt, but I'm not panicking yet. If we can get these guys back and actually keep a relatively stable lineup out there for a few games in a row, I think we'll see some pretty drastic improvement. Especially once Hornqvist (and even Comeau) come back.

Agree, Croz. I'm not going to panic till I see what happens when Hornqvist and Comeau get back. If Letang is out for a while, defensive concerns begin to rear their heads, too. Philthy got a lot of home cooking tonight. The relatively concerning trend in the division continues, though.

If you are referring to the last penalty that is something the officials rarely call-no mans land.
Give him shit for giving Schenn too much space on the first goal of the game, but then again- no mans land.
Anyway #71 stood out offensively and with better support(sans the Bennett goal) his line or the PP should have cashed in more.

Hack might be onto something. This team is getting players back, Crosby broke out but they aren't getting better.

If Letang is out the scramble on the blue line is going to get ugly.

If they wanted to punish the Cryers, they should have mandated 30+ minutes per game for Rinaldo for the next eight games. This ruling actually benefits Philly.

That suspension length was a joke, they had a perfect chance to send a message to a goon, to all goons, and they messed it up, Ive seen Flyers fans on message boards question the decision
