Pens 24-25 Season

Post by gpclay » Sun Oct 06, 2024 9:09 pm

Don’t want to step on anyone’s toes but here we go for the Pens’ 24-25 Season. LGP!!!!

Love the younger guys and what we saw on the PP in preseason. Hopefully they can bank a few points early this year to lead back to the playoffs. Always the best time of the year when anything seems possible.

I'm completely out of the loop on hockey. Need to do some catching up.

Hopefully the injuries to Rust and Ned aren't serious.

There were 2 things that absolutely killed the Pens last season:

First and foremost: PowerPlay. Pens were not only bottom 5 in PPG last year, but they allowed the most shorties league wide.

Second: Situational goaltending. Pens were dead last in High-Danger Save Percentage.

Here's hoping we see a regression to the mean this year.

I saw the PP look great… without Karlsson on the ice. If they’re planning on keeping him off the #1PP, I am really optimistic.
