Pens dominate 3rd period to win in Montreal....guy who sings the anthems was something else...always a highlight of games involving Canadian teams. Would love to go to a game in Montreal

Jarry played quite well down the stretch in this game.
Hopefully that helps him get his head on straight.

Rumors of Geno Malkin’s demise were a little premature.

Tied for the league scoring lead.
Last year ,if I remember correctly, he got off to a 10 point in the first 10 games start. Then he faded a good bit. Lack of decent winger maybe.
Still don't trust Jarry. He always looks uncomfortable.

Since you know I love looking stuff up.......
Pretty much, yes - He was at 17 points thru 14 games last year.
Then he cooled off substantially, with 31 points over the next 49 games.
He finished the year with 19 points in the last 19 games.....which happened to coincide with the arrival of Bunting.

Critics always like to talk about how Malkin benefitted from playing against the other team's 2nd best line/D pairing, but he also sufferred having Sid or the 3rd line poach the best linemates. I think he might be one of the most underrated players ever, being the 2nd-best Russian and 2nd best-penguin during his tenure.
