The Rangers have hit the skids and need defensive help. Trouba has agreed in principle to consider waiving his no-trade clause to prevent being released and therefore able to be picked up by a team he might not prefer to join.

Trouba might have left NY before this season but his wife is in her last year of med school here in the city and he wanted to stay one more year.

Thanks!

I've been saying I don't like how the Rangers' were structured as a team for a few years now, so I supposed I'm (finally) being vindicated.

I am getting such a weird early 1990s vibe watching Rags play the Pens on ESPN. Those were two powerhouse teams (three cups in four years? 1991-1994) Hearing that theme song just takes me right back
