No they are selling a minority stake.
They aren't bailing....they're trying to generate more cash.
Kinda like the Rooneys did with the Steelers in the early 2010s.

when i posted this it was being discussed like they wanted to either sell some stake or get out completely but youre right, it's to divest to more investment

If I had any sports franchise I would sell all of it.
The Soto contract is the high water mark for franchise valuation.
The current situation with pro teams is unsustainable, which is why they are pushing gaming.
