Pens vs Rags

Post by Legacy User » Mon Dec 08, 2014 8:44 pm

I dont like the idea of our patchwork lineup against a fully stocked Ranger lineup, it could get ugly, this will have to be a hard work effort tonight, lets see if coach MJ can work some matchup magic! and good MAF shows up!

Forward Lines as far as we know

Pittsburgh Penguins @penguins
#Pens lines unchanged at morning skate: Spaling-Crosby-Downie, Malkin-Sutter-Comeau, Klinkhammer-Goc-Megna, Sill-Ebbett-Adams.

Looks like Maata is out tonight too, maybe that why we havent seen Maata play well lately?

Update on Hornqvist coming tomorrow, most likely concussion issues

Been so busy lately I haven't been able to watch.

Looks like the Walrus got fired in Ottawa.

Always thought McLean was a pretty good coach. Bylsmagic beat him in their last playoff matchup, but that was more talent than anything else. He had his team playing hard and above their heads.

Lines tonight are indicative of the lack of depth. Crosby and Malkin's play will have to carry this team the next few weeks. Not much else to hang our hats on.

I agree. I think he'll land a good job next season. Justin Bourne already has an interesting take on it.

Would be hilarious if the Sens brought in Bylsma thinking their defensive mentality would improve, an aspect Bourne thinks had a lot to do with the firing.

My brother in law is a Sharks fan, and after listening to me for the last few seasons, is living in mortal dread of the Bylsmagic rumors in San Jose. Some poor team is going to make the call, and I will be amused. Like watching Bubby start for teams that weren't the Steelers.

I guess the eastern conference would be better than the west in that case. No Bylsma team would make it out of that conference alive.

However it turns out, nice to see the Pens were able to erase a 2 goal deficit with 6 minutes to go in their depleted state......especially with Henrik in goal.

Aaaaand as soon as I type that the Rags win. At least we came out with a point.

Its tough to admit, but I'm satisfied with an OT loss, considering we were down 3-1 with 5 min to go

Good effort from lots of guys tonight, MAF wasnt his best , Martin and Dumo were bad...

I'll take the points where we can get them while we suffer through these injuries. Buys GMJR the time to look for the best possible deal. Gutty performance to come back and at least grab the point, Cap is right, especially against Lundqvist, down 2 in the 3rd at MSG.

Didn't get to watch much of this one because I was busy doing work. I flipped it when it the Falcons/Packers game when it got to 3-1 (lot of fantasy implications that went down to the wire)....with the offense this team is riding..ugh. Glad the team came back and salvaged a point.

These past two games are a step in the positive direction as far as effort and drive from the players. That's something that has been sorely missing for about a month now. That has returned...unfortunately the team's health has not.
