Oh, he’s gonna get suspended.

The thing really working against him vis a vis suspension is this will be his third time getting suspended, and second time with a similar stick incident. I would guess 5 games.

If you get the full clip it looks like he takes some kind of slash about 30 seconds before the incident, and that is what set him off. He's circling near the center of the zone and you can see him kind of shaking his hand, before skating towards Dahlin.

That doesn't excuse what he did, of course. Absolutely cannot swing your stick at another player's head. He even took a little check swing before the one that connected. Inexcusable, and doubly so when you know Crosby is already out.

Pittsburgh sports radio calling him Evgeni Metcalf.

And per NHL policy, that shouldn't count. See Tom Wilson. Hell Trouba did something similar and got zero games. But DPOS always makes exceptions for goons while throwing the book to the stars.
