For those saying the NFL shouldn't play any preseason games because they don't in college, I give you Miami vs. Florida the other night.
Also, if Tate Martell transferred and then couldn't win the QB job over that, wow. He really must be trash.

I dunno. I think tomlin would fuck this up too. He's too stupid. Can't see through the aviators.
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the pigeon is going to shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway.
Mute button for this genius, too. Welcome to Lynchville, Cor. Cya.

I don't suppose you teach your students about irony and sarcasm.
Because you fail at both.

Once would have been irony or sarcasm. What you're doing is trolling all over the board, hammering an unfunny joke into the ground and making the place worse. It's tasteless, heavy handed, overdone, and, well, just stupid.

I would agree under normal circumstances. Unfortunately, that's the language 95 understands.
I'm sorry if I offended you, but it seems you are a raw nerve ending.

No need to jump off the main boards (where you dumped all over 5 or six threads in 20 minutes) onto the CFB board to trash a discussion thread for the season with infantile crap. Try and have a football discussion.

Next week will obviously be telling, but LSUs offense in week 1 was the most promising LSU offense I’ve ever seen.
Cincinnati upsetting OSU this weekend would be glorious

Nah, I’d rather OSU win this weekend and have IU get the upset win next weekend.
Buffalo might pull an upset in happy valley.
LSU's defense is real. THat will be one tough team.

Wow. That game. Hats off to Vegas for the LSU -6.5 line.
Quick thoughts:
- Joe Burrow is the best LSU QB since I first became an LSU fan (freshman year, 2005). Not only should he be in the Heisman race right now, if he continues to play even 80% as well as he did tonight, he should be a first round pick. Those were big boy NFL throws in a modern NFL offense and he just has “it”. He comes through huge in big moments. He has a gunslinger mentality. A bit of Brett Favre to him. Believes he can make any throw into any window and will try, and usually succeed. Almost 500 yards on the road against a good Texas defense and top 10 Texas team? Unbelievable.
- Stingley (#24, CB) is incredible, especially for a true freshman. His ability to time pass breakups is uncanny. Multiple times he did it without ever needing to locate the ball first. Read the eyes and body language. If he stays healthy, he will be a top 10 pick in three years. Could be the best DB from DBU when all is said and done.
- LSU needs to figure out an edge rush. Chaisson has potential but is raw since he has missed so much time. LB play in general needs to improve. Too many times out of position just by a yard or two. Should come with time they’re all young.
- Tackling must improve. Too many yards after contact.
- Rashard Lawrence made a great decision coming back. He was constantly disruptive before he was hurt. He’ll be a day 2 pick.
- Not Fulton’s best game, but he started slow last year too and is coming off of an injury.
- LSU’s top 3 WRs are all draftable. Justin Jefferson has made himself into a real threat after being a 3 star recruit (.79). Marshall and Chase are fantastic true sophomores and will both be first rounders as well.
- LSU’s defense is for real, but they got gassed. That 19 play drive was brutal and almost won Texas the game. Credit to Herman, his teams are always ready and never go away.
- This LSU offense is for real and I haven’t seen one like it in Baton Rouge ever. The down side is the pressure it puts on our defensive conditioning. But if we keep scoring? It’s OK.
- I think Clemson, Alabama, LSU are the clear three best teams in the country. Tonight’s performance would not beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa, but would score points for a change.’
- I hated the Coach O hire, but he has brought in top coordinators and let them do their thing. Joe Brady is fantastic. Ensminger will retire after this year and Brady will be OC, but he has already left his mark on the program. The offense looks a lot like the Saints.
Don’t know how this season will finish, but this team has more potential than any LSU team in recent memory. Only the Mett/Landry/OBJ teams are close, and they were held back by Les.
