Week 3 CFB betting

Post by R_S » Mon Sep 08, 2014 4:12 pm

a few games jump out at me early on

Central michigan +7 vs Syracuse

USF +3 vs NC State

WVU +3 at Maryland

I they could all win outright quite easily

UCLA -8 at Texas

UCLA looks pretty bad. Might want to stay away until they get their D figured out (gave up 35 at home to Memphis)

Good call. Texas has been pretty bad themselves. But you're right. Too risky at this point. scratch them.

UCLA has been borderline (well, actually...) schizophrenic this season. One week the defense basically wins the game against a game UVA team, the next week, they almost lose it against a much less talented Memphis team. I agree, until they get themselves sorted, stay away. Probably until the PAC 10 schedule starts, at least.

Best bet of the week is Wyoming +43.5

Tennessee +20.5 isn't a bad bet. TN has speed and a decent QB, which is a good recipe for not getting run off the field.

I would have been so much better off if I would have just stuck with ECU and the points last week.

First game that stands out this week is a play against the money...I like South Carolina to beat Georgia outright. I think SC at home shuts down UGA run game and pounds da rock...sometimes it takes fat boy Olines a few games to get there shit together...name escapes me but I prefer SC's QB to Mason. So I like SC +6...

My sick degenerate gambler side is still interested in who starts at QB for Cen Fla...T-AM laying those points...

For the sake of full transparency on here. The games I took so far today are

WVU +2 1/2

USF teased to a +8 I believe it was +5 or 6 when I made the bet. Current line at + 1 1/2

Also Took Wyoming at +45

I really wanted to take Central Michigan at +5 against Syracuse, but I held off. Still think they may beet them outright.

I've hit 2 out of 3 in the first 3 weeks. Can't complain about that. Got drilled on the USF, NC state game today.

I have to smile every time big bad USC gets it from a team like Boston College.

After watching them against Pitt, I wasn't too impressed with BC. They certainly surprised me on Saturday.
