prolly half the last 20 superbowl winners started a QB drafted later than the 1st (yes, a lot of tom brady in there).
Of course, I had to check ;) ...and it is actually over half...11 in the past 20 Super Bowls. As was mentioned 7 of those are Brady(6th RD). The other 4 are Brad Johnson (9th), Drew Brees (2nd), Russell Wilson (3rd), and Nick Foles (3rd).

The 9 first round winners were Ben (2), Peyton (2), Eli(2), Flacco, Rodgers, Mahomes.

So spending a 4th on a POS QB is a good investment? Brees and Wilson fell because of height ( which is stupid) . They showed all the abilities in college that they show in the NFL., Arm talent, Quick decisions and accuracy. Mond has the arm strength. Not the accuracy or the quick decisions.

I totally agree with Perch that they need to identify a QB in 2022-23 and go after them. For now, build a great team to drop the QB into.

I don’t think I said that...pretty sure I didn’t. Just for the record, I want no part of Kellen Mond. Not even on day 3.

Yeah, that doesn't bode well. Also, not exactly a murderer's row of QB picking talent represented with those teams, which ought to say something.

I’m seeing some rumblings from the “experts” that Mond isn’t going to last through the 2nd round. WTF are these guys smoking?!?

Mond is the developmental QB with upside. The rest are not worth the pick unless you are really rolling the dice. Can you change Mond's mechanics to make him more accurate? Not sure.
