1.) Emeka Egbuka 6’1 205 WR Ohio State- Sidecar to Maserati Marv and freshman sensation Jeremiah Smith, “Cool Breeze” is the ideal complement to the mercurial George Pickens (yes, the Steelers should pay that man his money).

2.) TJ Sanders 6’4 290 DL South Carolina- “Rock out with your Cock out.” Unless TJ is in fact a crack addict, there’s no way he’s not “high” on the Steelers’ wish list. Versatile leader of a DISRUPTIVE Cocks’ front four, this versatile beast is soaring up draft boards. Man, I sooo wanted the Cocks in the playoffs. Stud qb LaNorris Sellers is a fun watch.

3.) Azareyeh Thomas 6’2 198 CB Florida St- Yes, the 2024 ‘Noles were a dumpster fire but no denying the DB lineage of a once proud program. Last year, I dug me some Renardo Green who was a grand theft selection by the 49ers. This Thomas fella has me feeling a similar tingle.

4.) Dylan Sampson 5’11 205 RB Tennessee- Tomlin does so love a story. Game Day’s feature of Sampson’s friendship with a disabled athlete while on a VOLeaders trip to Africa will surely help Mikey forget all about his boy Najee. Burst on a stick, Sampson is power and personality personified.

5.) Taylen Green 6’6 230 QB Arkansas- Raw talent but possesses intriguing size and skillset worth developing for a year or two behind Russ or Sam Darnold (STFU, Drama).

6.) Cam Skattebo 5’11 215 RB Arizona St- “That’s how a white man runs the football.” Indeed. Shattering Sun Devil single season records, Sampson, Skattebo, and Warren would make a fun backfield trio for your beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.

7.) Nick Dawkins 6’4 300 OC Penn St- “Chocolate Thunder Flyin', Robinzine Cryin', Teeth Shakin', Glass-Breakin', Rump Roastin', Bun Toastin, Wham, Bam, Glass Breaker I Am Jam!” Son of the late 76ers center Darryl Dawkins, this Nittany Lion is a team captain and solid blocker for the dynamic duo up in Happy Valley.

7.) Chaz Chambliss 6’2 250 EDGE Georgia “CHAZ! There’s someone here to see you. PICK UP YOUR FUCKING SKATEBOARD!” Mykel Williams and Jalon Walker are the Bulldog headliners, but ‘ol Chaz here plays with his hair on fire bringing the heat on every snap.

Thanks as always for reading. Please comment on the players you like and those you don't. College football playoffs await. GO DAWGS! ROLL TIDE! Ohhh wait...

2 RBs? Warren is a RFA so he is coming back

Ohh idk why just such a deep class of RBs might as well double dip after Najee departs

Warren to me more of a 3rd down back
A back such as Sampson is your stud
Skattebo a banger and cult hero

Cordarrelle Patterson kinda sucks
Easy cut

I would get at least 2 DT if not 3. Plenty of 6'5 300+ lb DTs in this draft

I see Ebuka more of a slot, they drafted that last year with Roman MIA Wilson.
If they go WR in the first I’d rather go with the guy from Texas Or Missouri.
I’m liking the CB Baron from Texas in the first, or a DE.
I also like the safety from Texas Mokuba.

Like this draft a lot. Egbuka is more than a slot, could definitely be a #2 in the NFL, and man does he ever do all the little things right. Excellent downfield blocker who genuinely enjoys the down and dirty parts of being a WR. And yeah, when you pay Pickens, that becomes a nice young WR group. Personality-wise, Egbuka is a nice foil to GP, too.

The double dip at RB? I'm down with it. I wish I could really see a world where MT is capable of saying goodbye to Naj.

Good stuff as always.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – One of the reasons Penn State has advanced this deep into the College Football Playoff is because the Nittany Lions have outstanding team leadership.

And one of their best leaders is senior center Nick Dawkins.

It’s a role he’s been accustomed to from a young age.

He was just 13 years old when his father, former NBA legend Darryl Dawkins, died of a heart attack in 2015.

“My whole life, I’ve been trying to fill somebody else’s shoes,” Dawkins said in preparation for Tuesday night’s Fiesta Bowl vs. Boise State (7:30 Eastern time kickoff, ESPN). “I didn’t feel any pressure.”

Darryl Dawkins’ passing left Nick to help take care of his mother, Janice, and three sisters, one of whom has Down Syndrome.
RIP Darryl
