Tough series but not totally unexpected. Will be good to see how these guys respond to the adversity as they've done so far in this still young season. The sloppy D was probably the toughest pill for me to swallow. The faltering of the pitching (though not so much today) and hitting was to be expected even if unfortunate to result in the sweep. We gave it a run today but not quite enough. Let's go and pick ourselves back off the mat!

The injuries may be our biggest enemy, especially to the SP. Let's hope BC can keep the pipeline coming for that aspect of the team (minors or waiver wire).

Welp, it was a fun month. And despite the 7 game losing streak, we remain competitive in a division where everyone else had a rough week as well. I remain a diehard fan of the sport and team. Let's see if we can right this ship!

If you had told me the Pirates could go 0-7 and lose only a game off their division lead, I'd say you were nuts.

But the Central Division is looking weak, so if the Pirates can right the ship against the weak Rockies, maybe they can stick around.

If we can get the bats back on track with more consistency, and get decent starting pitching again, we might just be for real. No matter what, I'm enjoying this season so far. And we are back in 1st (tied) again! When is the last time the Bucs have been in 1st or in contention for 1st for a month and a half (or more)? Yeah, despite all, I'm loving this!

Raise it! Mitch didn't have his best stuff but the bats salvaged a series victory in SF. First one in May? I think so. Anyway, great to see. Time for June and time to turn it around. Whether 2023 is on the FO timetable for being ready to compete or not, they need to go for it. Some of the recent additions are weak, man. Nutting about the same as always.
