To paraphrase Bill Terry, are the Pirates still in the league?

I would be a huge fan of introducing relegation to Major League Baseball.

Would go a long way to eliminating assholes like Nutting from running teams.

A salary cap is an excuse...not a solution to the Pirates problems.
No other organization would hold on to a poor manager like Hurdle. Well past time for a new (younger) field boss. Someone to rock the boat. Seems that there are some players a bit too comfortable.
I’ve given Huntington the benefit of the doubt in the past, considering what he’s had to work with (and work for). He’s well past his expiration date too.
