Had the rotation not been a mash unit...

I feel better about this club than any of the past few seasons.

But will Neal finally go all in to make a play for this season?

He needs to either go all in or all out...no muddle like last year.

Made harder by the fact you can't do waiver deals anymore.

Disagree. I think the best course of action this year is really no action. Maybe pick up a quality reliever on the cheap, but I wouldn't give up much to add anywhere else. I'd gamble that the rotation returns to health and bolsters the team down the stretch, and just roll with the kids in the lineup that have played well all year.

OK- not sure I share your optimism about the pitching staff although they have been better lately.

However- I would say that that's still a firm decision by Neal if he does that- I wouldn't consider that half buying half selling like he did last year.

im no expert on Bucs contracts but they seem loaded; if u call it that in outfield; I think dealing Polanco who to me seems like just a guy with potential who underachieves for some pitching might be wise. a good starter or what ever. where's the Chisenhall fucker who's nursing his vagina? noway im not playing the natural-renolds no matter who's back. milky can play. Dickerson. martte has picked it up. cerveli gone is a plus. this bunch is raking the ball. Moran even. imagine if Jung ho was like rookie Jung ho? . what a pleasant surprise Newman has been.

There are rumors that Phillies will make a run at Marte. I’d deal him in a heartbeat.
Cervelli says he’s done catching due to concussions. No reason to hold on to him, but in true Pittsburgh Pirates fashion, they’ll shoehorn him into other positions, at the expense of better, younger, more promising players because, you know...when the moon hits the sky....
