Kid with Pittsburgh name vying for Rookie of the Year honors! He'd been slumping a bit but had a monster game yesterday! Oh by the way, Cruz is on the way tonight, Reynolds has been raking like his old self, the pitching has been a lot better. Kind of what I expected. Better players, better play (mostly, they have to figure out the error thing), but they don't know what it takes to win ball games yet. It will come. Let's go Bucs!!

I'll admit to only half-heartedly watching, but it definitely seems like the Bucs are holding their own/beating lesser teams but struggling with the good ones (unless its LA).

And that's fine - as you said, they're still young and figuring out how to win. Here's hoping we keep seeing progress throughout the summer.
