Damn, I was just thinking about how amazing it was for him at 90 to still be part time announcing major league baseball games. RIP, Bob.

He was a very funny guy. I have the MLB radio package, and used to listen to Brewers games once in a while. Once they were in San Diego, and Uecker made up a story about how the Western Metal Supply Company, whose building is down the left field line at Petco Park, had been a big supplier to the Union Army during the Civil War.
