Pirates new TV deal

Post by SteelPro » Tue Oct 15, 2019 3:57 pm

You may have missed this but the Pirates inked a new TV deal with AT&T Sportsnet. https://triblive.com/sports/pirates-ext ... sion-home/

It has been over a week and still no financials of the deal have been released. That makes sense because it is hard to cry poor when everyone knows how wealthy you are. Crying poor and losing are in Bob Nutting’s DNA.

Agreed Pro.

A more criminally run organization in MLB would be hard to find.

If that ball-less gangster wanted to actually win, he'd first of all fire Huntington and bring in a GM who will work on restructuring most of the entire organization, including their philosophy. Player acquisition, drafting and player development needs to be updated/improved. Second, he'd take his additional profits from the TV deal and go out and get at least a solid SP or 2, and maybe one position player, bring up the rest of the kids (Tucker, Hayes, Craig) and let them play. There will be warts, but at least we'd be trying for real, instead of the complete BS double-talk that The Nut, and his boot-licking lackeys, Huntington and Coonelly, spew forth upon the fans of this team.
