Here's the comparison, before anyone calls it blasphemy....

on the game days in the 70s, it was often more fun to watch our defense play than our offense, which often couldn't score any points and relied on the D to win the game with turnovers. It was truly dominant football with the best defense of all time.

The current Bucs streak has me feeling the same way -- I look forward to watching OUR PITCHING (defense) more than our offense. Our starters have been so dominant recently, it just reminds me of that time when you felt we could win games regardless of how our offense performs.

No, I'm not saying this team will win 4 championships -- i'm saying this current stretch of dominance by our pitching staff recalls the same feelings when the Steel Curtain could win games all by itself -- it's a great feeling.
