Go see this movie. Go in blind.

One of the most intense horror films I've ever seen.

Yeah, I've been trying to find some good ones, but with no luck.

The old classics just never seem as scary as I remember them, and I'm having a lot of trouble sorting through the newer ones on Netflix/Amazon.

I don't really follow the genre all that intently, so I have no idea what's supposed to be good or not, and the titles of these things always seem to be those overly generic titles you'd see out of a B movie.

I also want legitimately creepy, not an entry in a contest to see who can throw the most gore on screen, which always just seems boring and lazy to me.

I will have to check it out.

I have always liked John Carpenter's The Thing and Prince of Darkness as my base.

I wouldn’t say the movie scared me as much as it made me feel dread and was insanely intense. If there was a sub genre of horror called dread, this is it.
