The (BS) rationale behind the no-suspension for Wilson on Dumo was that Dumo moved and as a result Wilson wasn’t targeting. Compare here where ZAR actually at the last second gets larger (ie moves his head up) in an effort to avoid getting hit in the head. Stated differently, if ZAR doesn’t move, then Wilson hits him clearly in the head.

Thus, debating PPOC is pointless based on the Dumo ruling.

I posted the video explanation in its own thread.

Essentially, he got nailed this time because he launched himself upwards, made the head the main point of contact, and caused an injury.

But yes...the other two hits ought to have been nailed too...and quite frankly, he should be suspended for the entire playoffs.

I’m going with Wilson won’t be suspended. I’m thinking he wouldn’t have been suspended even if Aston-Reese died.

This is where many in the NHL want the game to be.

Hell...whenever Wilson’s contract is up...the Penguins should make a run for him.

He’s a Reaves that can play.
